**What you will be doing.**:
The Country Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management decisions and executing the long and short-term strategic plans of the Company within the assigned Country. This role entails responsibility for effectively managing the performance of employees to ensure deliverables in accordance with OWC instructions, procedures, and policies.

The Country Manager will be responsible for establishing and growing OWC’s renewables business in Vietnam / growing the already established and running OWC’s renewables business in Vietnam, including both offshore and onshore renewables. The priority will be to set up an office/team / ensure the existing office/team runs smoothly and to grow the business by offering full consultancy portfolio to serve this geographic market. The key drive will be to extend the client base, securing new work in the process from our existing clients and ensuring turnover and profit levels are in line with the agreed Business Plan and budgets. The focus will be on organic growth and the business unit will build on OWC strengths, ABL’s infrastructure and capability in the region. It is expected that the country manager will also leverage their existing network to prospect and develop leads, convert consultancy assignment opportunities and work on and project manage consultancy assignments for a range of renewables topics. The role will require close co-operation with the OWC and ABL’s regional team to mobilize their support and stimulate cross selling where suitable activities present themselves.

The primary responsibility is to manage the country commercially and operationally to grow the business within the country. However, you’re encouraged to cooperate and support other Country Managers and Service Leads in our global market, particularly with clients that have a global reach. This is to be undertaken whilst maximizing profitability and ensuring quality, performance improvement and customer service delivery are maintained.

Key responsibilities:
**Business Development and Growth**:

- Develop strategies, action plans, and budgets to achieve growth plans.
- Identify and pursue business opportunities within and beyond the assigned country, maintaining CRM data.
- Establish and develop OWC’s business unit in the country, focusing on renewables.
- Execute sales, marketing, and development plans to achieve revenue and profit objectives.
- Extend the client base, securing new work and ensuring turnover and profit levels meet expectations.
- Develop and execute national-specific sales, marketing, and development plans, maximizing cross-selling together with other teams.

**Operational Management**:

- Manage day-to-day operational decisions effectively.
- Implement organizational arrangements, systems, and processes for efficient resource deployment - optimizing between local, sub-contractor and broader OWC/ABL offices.
- Ensure compliance with group policies, procedures, and HSEQ standards.
- Control and manage subcontractor qualification, quality, costs, and performance.
- Recruitment against agreed plans and manage resources within financial budgets.
- Ensure progressive turnover, order intake to target, acceptable profit margins, and maintain cost control and cash recovery.
- Development and delivery of accurate and regular progress and financial reports to OWC Management

**Team Leadership and Development**:

- Provide leadership, direction, and motivation to the local team.
- Foster cooperation and high levels of performance among team members.
- Facilitate internal audit processes, complete close-out of actions and implement improvement plans.
- Develop and achieve collective goals, including regional objectives.

**Client Relationship Management**:

- Build and maintain good client relationships through regular communication and satisfaction checks.
- Ensure efficient delivery and service to internal and external customers.
- Collaborate closely with OWC Directors and senior staff for effective client management.
- Address client satisfaction and delivery expectations promptly and effectively.

**Technical Excellence and Innovation**:

- Produce high-quality consultancy/engineering deliverables.
- Stay at the cutting edge of renewables deliverables, contributing to technical excellence.
