**Role Description**

The Vietnam Country Manager will be responsible for overseeing the operations and growth of MKA Group in Ho Chi Minh City focusing in the Automotive sector. The role involves managing the local team, developing business strategies, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and driving the overall success of MKA Group's operations in Vietnam.

**Job Descriptions**

a. Serve as primary staff for the Board of Directors.
- Keep Board of Directors informed by timely reports deemed necessary by the Employee, required by the Board, required by the by-laws, and/or required by law;
- Plan and execute the operations of the Company in accordance with the by-laws and policies of the Board;
- Develop and present to the Director a strategy for accomplishing the objectives of the Company.
- To produce business performance reports, which could be on a monthly or quarterly basis.
- Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring business continuity and compliance with legal requirements.

b. Serve as primary contact for Information and Communications
- Public Relations
- First point of contact or spokesperson as appropriate information repository
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Understand and navigate the local business culture, customs, and regulations to ensure successful operations.

c. Manage overall country's operations
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including sales, marketing, finance, HR, and logistics, ensuring efficiency and compliance with local regulations.
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team, providing guidance and support to achieve goals.
- Manage budgets, forecast revenues, monitor expenses, and ensure profitability.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats, adapting strategies accordingly.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Job Requirements: -**
- **Job Location: Binh Tan, Ho Chi Minh City**:

- Experience in managing regional or country operations
- Strong leadership and strategic planning skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels, including people-management, leadership and both written and verbal communication skills.
- Possess high sense of responsibilities and self-motivation.
- Possess strong understanding of business operations and good business acumen.
- Proven track record of achieving business targets and driving growth.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, management or a related field (preferably a master's degree).
- Postgraduate degree in sales, finance or related field is also acceptable.
- Possesses minimum of 8 year(s) of relevant working experience.
- Knowledge of the local market and business landscape in Vietnam
- Preferably to have knowledge and experience of the automotive industry
- Experience living abroad is an advantage, sensitive to cultural differences.
