The Company is a leading supplier for the material handling & processing industry in regard to conveyor belt

maintenance as well as wear and corrosion protection. We have an effective worldwide network, providing

products, systems, and services to our customers.

We are also a worldwide leader specializing in tire repair solutions. Our products including of tire repair

materials, workshop equipment, consumables, and service concepts.

We are a multinational organization with headquarters located in Germany, currently with a team based in the

Shah Alam office and engaged with a long-term project contract in Malaysia.

**Overall purpose**:
The purpose of this position is to collaborate in business development in Vietnam, working in a multinational

and multicultural setting as a self-starter for collaboration with:

- External (new and existing) local clients to understand their requirements while creating demand, enlarge the business scope
- External (new and existing) local partner to lead and eventually deliver the market positioning to support the company’s overall strategic direction.
- Internal (product management, sales & marketing) to identify, develop and lead opportunities and business initiatives to drive long-term, sustainable profitable growth,
- Internal team (operations) to ensure the business development including sales network, compliance, logistics service

**Key Deliverables**:

- Manage the company branding communication, public relations, and marketing activities in Vietnam to make sure the success of the company development; for mining, cement industry, and power plant-related bulk material handling industries.
- Develop and coordinate the implementation of strategic business and market plans, and sales growth.
- Develop and maintain the sales channel for different industries and end-customer scope, making sustainable strategic growth of the company business.
- Assesses market situation on competition and takes part in the gap analysis between company products and competitors' products.
- Analyze industry/market size, economic and customer trends and ensure that company capabilities are in alignment with future opportunities

**Key Knowledge**:

- The current state of the business in terms of SWOT analyses (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats)
- The current state of the overall industry and growth projections
- The customer profile and the competitor developments
- New and unexplored market opportunities
- New domains/products/sectors eligible for business expansion, which may complement the existing business
- The long-term view, especially with regard to the initiatives being proposed
- The cost areas and the possible options for cost-savings

**Suggest**:

- In carrying out his/her duties and responsibilities the Employee will ensure safe practices are always followed for his/her personal safety, and that those with whom he/she works. This includes PPE to be worn at all required times.
- Promote quality and value propositions in all instances.
- Utilize and leverage electronic communications to support the position goals outlined, e.g., direct mailing product and technical data sheets in the local language
- Display strong report writing skills and punctual delivery of required reports to the Reporting Manager. Submit an end-of-month report in a timely manner at all times

**Requirements**: Qualification; Skills and Experience
- Working experience in MNC is preferred
- Working history with belt conveyors and/or rubber wear protection essential
- Minimum qualification Diploma in Engineering
- Living in Hanoi or HCMC, willing to travel regularly around Vietnam
- Self-discipline. Able to complete tasks under minimum supervision
- Language: speak, read, and write English (and Vietnamese as mother tongue)
- Competent with MS Office and Windows.
- Self-starter / self-motivator.
- Presentation skills and time management skills required
- Business development and Action Plan execution skills
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication
