**The Business Development Manager EDI/Modality Manager** will work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of modality data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. The development of the solution requires a multi-disciplinary approach and knowledge principles, theories and concepts of his modality. This person will formulate the solution for (technical) partial problems that cannot be found by combining previous experiences but by composing newly acquired knowledge of his modality and may lead multi-disciplinary change projects, managing a number of people.

This person will also work independently and provides consultative advice within specific functional areas as well as introduce new methods/procedures for his modality that are new for the organization. Applies advanced process principles to multiple tasks. Proficient in area of specialization and contributes in other disciplines. Determines feasibility of concepts or projects for his modality. Has basic knowledge of related disciplines. This role typically requires a Bachelor’s degree with > 5 years of related experience in Modality Management; or a Master’s degree with < 3 years of related experience in Modality Management.

The Business Development Manager
- Enterprise Diagnostic Informatics (EDI) is key to driving new business initiatives, gathering marketing intelligence, guiding project teams, composing value propositions and creating business models to assess the feasibility of these new opportunities.

This role will be based in Hanoi in order to develop the EDI business in the North area.

**You are responsible for**:
**Develop EDI Business Strategy for the Vietnam Market**
- Engages with customers to build and execute business funnel, closely working together with account team
- Develops stakeholder relationships together with Sales Leader/ Strategic Key Account Managers and facilitate engagement as required through opportunity lifecycle.
- Develops sales strategies for new opportunities and together with Sales Leader / Strategic Account Manager and Client Delivery Manager is accountable for prospecting, lead generation until solution delivery and operations (Lead-to-Contract
- to-OIT-to-Revenue).
- Advises customer Decision Makers how to best realize the value of their Philips investment through innovation, implementation and productive use
- Lead the Presales stages of the opportunity by providing deep & effective presentation of market trends with a focus on customer needs and defined solution
- Present solution and map against customer requirements with understanding of competitive/other factors impacting deal closure
- Drive competitive analysis, enhance portfolio and strategies against established players and new threats based on deep understanding of industry landscape incl. customer needs, trends, competition.
- Design business models and prepare comprehensive project budgets, calculates business cases
- Ensures that the respective Solution is covered in the BMC plans, and in account plans

**Collaborates for scale and knowledge management**:

- Engage with Global/Market Team to develop the most relevant solutions (best practice+ local expertise )
- Drives standardization and scalability of Solutions.

**People Management**:

- Build a strong internal network and align key players to support the delivery of value to our customers and execute deals.
- Maximize the customer experience by creating a predictable process of information gathering and exchange to aligning the Account team to present a coordinated and efficient One Philips approach to the customer.
- Initiate collaboration with Sr. Account Executive or Regional Sales Manager and other internal partners to validate and execute the Account Strategy and deal execution.
- Utilize OneSource and SFDC to share knowledge and develop conversations across the business.
- Demonstrate the Philips behaviors in all interactions
