Our client is a leading banking, who is looking for a talent to join their firm:
- Lead and manage the national sales team, providing direction, motivation, and support.
- Set clear performance expectations, establish goals, and regularly evaluate team members performance.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive national sales strategy aligned with overall business objectives and growth targets.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to ensure alignment and integration of sales strategies.
- Ensure that all activities meet high-performance standards and comply with internal policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee control and compliance with defined operational policies and procedures.
- Maintain appropriate sales practices at all times.
- Supervise and motivate the sales force on sales activities and performance.
- Provide training, coaching, and support to ensure effective sales and service delivery.
- Support new product launches and the development and implementation of marketing programs.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
- Work closely with relationship managers to understand client needs and provide effective solutions.
- Appropriately assess risk when making business decisions.
- Demonstrate particular consideration for the firms reputation and safeguarding its group, clients, and assets.
- Ensure that the sales team operates in compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with sales activities.
- Escalate, manage, and report control issues with transparency.
- Effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability for maintaining standards.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated and advancing experience in wealth, private bank, and retail management.
- Possession of a bachelors degree in business, finance, a related field, or equivalent experience; preference given to those with a master’s degree in business administration or equivalent experience.
- Exceptionally strong skills in sales management, profit center management, marketing, planning, financial analysis, leadership, motivation, coaching, project management, cross-selling, mathematical proficiency, decision-making, analytical thinking, and communication.
- Comprehensive understanding of the client service concept and its significance in fostering, sustaining, and expanding account relationships.
- Capability to implement robust activity management principles, utilizing effective coaching, leadership, and sales management skills to drive daily sales activities.
- Proficiency in communication and collaboration with senior management and various business groups.
- Ability to make informed business decisions, exercise judgment, and provide clear direction within established frameworks.
- Competence in working closely with Compliance, Credit & Risk, and Internal Control to ensure a well-balanced risk operating environment.
