Our client is a leading multi-sector corporation in Vietnam, seeking experienced professionals to join their firm.

Job Desciptions

Operational Management

  • Supervise daily port operations, including vessel scheduling, cargo handling, terminal management, and logistics coordination.

  • Ensure all operations comply with safety, security, and environmental standards.

  • Monitor equipment utilization, maintenance schedules, and operational performance indicators.

  • Coordinate with shipping lines, customs, logistics companies, and local authorities.

Strategic Planning & Development

  • Assist the Port Operations Director in developing and executing the port's business strategies.

  • Identify opportunities for operational improvement and digital transformation.

  • Support the implementation of new technologies, automation systems, and process enhancements.

Financial & Performance Management

  • Participate in budgeting, cost control, and performance reporting for the operations department.

  • Analyze key metrics to ensure targets for throughput, service levels, and profitability are met.

Human Resource Leadership

  • Lead and train operations managers, supervisors, and staff to achieve high performance and safety awareness.

  • Promote teamwork, discipline, and accountability across departments.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure full compliance with port regulations, national maritime laws, and international standards (e.g., ISPS, IMO).

  • Develop and enforce policies for emergency response, occupational safety, and environmental protection.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Port Management, Maritime Studies, Logistics, or a related field.

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in port or terminal operations, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.

  • Strong understanding of port operations, shipping logistics, and regulatory frameworks.

  • Proven leadership and decision-making skills under high-pressure situations.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Proficiency in English (both written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.

  • Familiarity with port management software, ERP systems, and data analytics tools.
