Job Title: Director of Global Sales Development

About the Role:

Square is seeking a seasoned sales leader to drive global sales development and growth. As Director of Global Sales Development, you will lead a high-performing team to connect and qualify inbound lead flow, measure KPIs, and drive conversion performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a global team to develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue growth and expansion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Market Leads, Automation, Operations, Finance, Product, Marketing, and Risk, to ensure alignment and effective lead qualification.
  • Develop and implement predictable and repeatable inbound sales funnel processes and best practices across multiple teams.
  • Partner with senior executives to promote strategic projects and increase lead generation contribution.
  • Effectively hire, coach, and inspire Account Development Managers to prepare them for their next roles within Square.
  • Ensure high-efficient inbound lead qualification from various channels.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of sales experience in a high-growth company.
  • 4+ years within Sales Development.
  • 4+ years of leadership experience, with experience leading a team of sales managers.
  • BA/BS Degree or equivalent.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and departments in a rapidly growing environment.
  • Experience communicating and managing relationships with senior executives.
  • Strong strategic planning and execution skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Extensive experience in a metrics-driven sales organization.
  • Strong ability to coach managers and sales representatives to higher performance.

Pay Range:

Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.

Zone Designations:

Zone A: $156,200 - $234,200 USD

Zone B: $145,200 - $217,800 USD

Zone C: $137,400 - $206,200 USD

Zone D: $129,600 - $194,400 USD
