- Product Management & Marketing activities
- Implementing Sales & marketing strategies for OPT (SUR and REF)
- Product positioning, Competitive pricing analysis to recommend for the leadership team.
- Manage key accounts and build KOL’s in the region
- Planning and implementation of events and road shows/ CME’s
- Reporting on market intelligence
- Market access plan for various FOB’s, periodic assessment and improvement plans.
- Manage professional networks at all levels of the global, regional, and affiliate organizations
- Submit territory reports and all required information requested by management by due date
- Sales & Customer Relationships
- Regular visits of existing and prospective customers independently and with distributors to build strong relationships
- Spend at least 60% of the time out of the office visiting KOLs and customers
- Demonstrate excellent sales skills and makes effective use of sales aids
- Good knowledge of competition and reporting competitive activities
- Develop and implement an effective territory sales and coverage plan to achieve penetration, conversion, and upgrade objective
- Support sales team with Bundling tools and complex sales
- To be fully responsible for the preparation of bids for major tenders/projects in your territory
- Creatively plan for expansion of challenging territories and conversion of difficult accounts
- Conduct In-depth understanding of customer needs to identify sales opportunities
- Constantly updating the customer database of assigned territory
- Conduct quality demonstrations and training for customers
- Develop and implement strategies and plans to increase customer satisfaction, confidence and loyalty
- Financials
- Meet the territory sales goals and objectives
- Achieve and exceed target in the product division
- Ensure profitability within the given territory and division
- Operations
- Work closely with inventory planner to ensure sufficient inventory to meet customers’ demands
- Improve and review ordering/delivery processes of consumables
- Improvement of the sales process by adapting to the right sales tools
- Demo planning and management of Demo stock
- Recruit, develop, and provide coaching to employees in the business
- Conduct and document regular performance reviews and an annual review as well as regular personal/career development discussions with direct reports, in line with Zeiss performance management process
- Develop an influential organizational culture for people to be motivated and perform
- Teamwork:

- Build and maintain constructive and cooperative relationships with the sales team and other cross-functional teams
- Active participation in team-related activities and meetings
- Support for colleagues to achieve the company's goals
- Sharing relevant customer/product/industry information with colleagues and identifying sales opportunities that contribute to the success of others
- As required, coach and mentor less experienced member

Any other duties & responsibilities as assigned by the management

Education / Professional Certification

Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, Biomedical, Marketing, or related fields

Experience
- Knowledge of the medical surgical ophthalmology industry is a priority
- At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role
- Strong analytical skills are necessary to evaluate market trends, customer feedback, and other data to make informed decisions about product development and marketing
