MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
Responsible for leading Trade Sales functional strategies and operations to ensure long term and short term business goals are achieved that complies with regulations and standards, and to protect organization’s public reputation. Provide leadership, direction to Communication Section which is capable to support all organization-wide business.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Develop a comprehensive sales and distribution strategy to maximise sales opportunities in order to achieve sales targets.
- Build strong partnership with Marketing, Market Insights, CMM to design and align short term and long-term Channels strategies for product positioning, market penetration, and pricing and ensure their executions.
- Outline objectives in key target areas such as sales volume, market share, distribution channels and profit margins to guide promotions and sponsorships
- Review sales performance by analysing performance reports, Investigate factors impacting sales performance and Define the approach for the overall sales of new business and account retention
- Monitor changes in the industry and leverage them for business opportunities.
- Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs. Foster relationships with new partners to achieve desired revenue. Influence senior stakeholders within customers' organisations and premier buyers in the industry. Promote positive relationships with major customers to understand their needs.
- Develop sales and distribution policies that reflect the organisation's goals.
- Leverage innovations to maximise revenue of traditional and digital assets and products.
- Direct the Sales team in generating proposals that define a clear path to client satisfaction and revenue growth.
- Provide input on sales incentive structure and key performance indicators to help monitor targets.
- Provide advice when preparing bid documents and integrated proposals for key accounts
- Provide input to the Content Development team based on customer and industry feedback.
- Recommend changes in pricing structures in product lines or products.
- Support employees in implementing of their growth plans. Develop and maintain succession plan and address future staffing issues in a proactive manner.
- Manage team’s development throughout the path to achieve goals. Ensure team activities to comply with Company Business Code of Conduct and all local applicable laws within scope of function responsibility. Carry out special projects as directed by GM.

- Total team including ~600 employees across levels, including sales force (sales representative, First line manager, second line manager.

MINIMUM BACKGROUND/ EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Work Experience
Minimum 10+ years: Experience in high management role in FMCG or Health Care industry

Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Medical, Pharmacy or equivalent
MBA strongly preferred

- Proven experience in managing P&L portfolios of $200MM+ and a strong record of exceeding topline, bottom line and market share growth
- Ability to anticipate market trends, channel shift and shopper behavior changes and use insights into customer and trade behaviors to build, develop strategic and differentiated GTM strategies for channels (GT, MT, Rural, M&B, eCommerce) to support business growth and expansion.
- Ability to deliver business performance (topline, bottom line, market share) through deep understanding of channel dynamics (O2O, M&B stores and e-commerce), consumer behavior shift (convenience & contactless delivery), data analytics and excellent execution of short-term and long-term business plans and optimizing the processes to increase productivity.
- Proven strong team leadership capability, ability to inspire large field force in a fiercely competitive market such as Vietnam, ability to attract difficult-to-find talents through network and knowledge of the local talent market and build new capabilities (e-coupon, upstream to downstream, QR code, data enrichment, etc.) for sustainable growth.
- Build strong partnership with Marketing, Market Insights, CMM to design and align short term and long-term Channels strategies to deliver business plan.
