**Position Purpose**
The primary purpose of this role is to serve as **Area Sales Manager **as a part of the Sales organization you will support the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to develop, lead the implementation, and monitor plans towards the achievement of targets for the assigned territory.
**Expectations**
- This role will be based in Vietnam and will provide daily work direction to the team to ensure sales targets are achieved
- Set up and manage the area distribution system including appointing and allocating territories to distributors, salesforce, retailers, selling routes, the delivery team
- Support RSM to allocate annual and quarterly sales and distribution targets to the sales team and distributors
- Support RSM by providing inputs from the area to prepare monthly sales forecasts and trade promotion plan
- Ensure excellent execution in the area including basic sales execution, promotions by reviewing and tracking of back-office and in-field execution
- Consolidate & manage distributors' orders, account receivables and coordinate with customer service staff, finance, and sales team on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
- Propose and execute aligned action plans on distributors’ capability, including a review of distributor’s finance and P&L to ensure a proper analysis and action plan to improve distributors’ effectiveness & efficiency and reduce risk
- Proactively provide feedback, analysis, and consultancy and propose opportunities/challenges about sales, distribution, and trade marketing strategy/policy to the upper-level management
**Qualifications/Education/Experience Required**
- This position requires a minimum of 4 years experience working in theFMCG industry with at least 2 years as a sales manager
- Bilingual in English and Vietnamese as this role will be facing off to Vietnamese clients and customers
- Exposure using MS Office (word, excel, ppt)
- Good communication skills (both oral and writing)
- Solid negotiation skills
- Sound Inter-personal skills
