General Insurance is a leading provider of insurance products and services for commercial and personal insurance customers. It includes one of the world’s most far-reaching property casualty networks. General Insurance offers a broad range of products to customers through a diversified, multichannel distribution network.
About the role
This role will help to drive and meet agency business objectives. Thus, it is important that the person understands the company sales process (product, underwriting appetite, compliance, claims, service process) and the external market environment (customer buying trends, competitor's strengths, and weaknesses).
He/she will report directly to the Country CEO.
**What you need to know**:
Responsible for developing and expanding profitable agency distribution to sell all lines of general insurance products such as Travel, Casualty, Marine, Financial Lines products, etc. This requires:
Recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new agents.
Training and Development of Agents
Achieving production budget
Monitoring and analyzing performance metrics, and providing effective coaching to agents
Creating a realistic sales forecast
Working directly with agents to expand the business
Monitoring compliance with Agent registration requirements
Developing and implementing programs to achieve agency distribution growth, productivity, and profitability objectives.
Collaborating with different business divisions to develop and execute joint strategies to achieve AIG Vietnam’s growth and profit goals.
**What we’re looking for**:
Preferably a University Degree or equivalent
Experience in sales, business development, or marketing preferably
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build credibility quickly with new agents.
Must be confident and strongly desire to lead and grow the business.
Local market and industry knowledge.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
