**About the Department**
The Human Resources function balances organisational aspirations and employee needs, as we accelerate and strengthen people capabilities to enable sustainable business growth at UOB. Our team of Human Resources specialists are guided by four employee commitments: do what is right, build meaningful careers, make a real difference and lead by positive example.
**Responsibilities**:
**_On/Off-boarding Process Control_**
- Manage employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle (onboarding, status changes, offboarding);
**_HR Outsourcing & Information System_**
- Oversight Payroll outsourcing vendor;
- Ensure tax implication in line with regulations, be able to verify with relevant stake holders (Payroll vendor, Accounting, Tax dept,);
- Ensure the management of Labour contract issuance, SHUI, Dependent registration, Employee profiles,... in accordance with laws (process, control & checklist, governance, database, and system)
- Manage HR relevant systems;
- Liaise with payroll vendor and internal channels to review and enhance processes;
- Contribute to database management and system maintenance.
**_Policy/Procedure & Governance Benefit Implementation_**
- Understand and implement HR policies (e.g. Internal Labour Regulation, Code of Conduct,) in a timely and efficient manner to meet organisational and strategic business/management needs;
- Update HR Function to new regulations, articles and decrees relating to HR matters/ Labor Code;
- Maintain and develop consistent HR process documentation and ensure appropriate utilization;
- Oversight for maintaining documentation and producing artifacts for HR audits;
- Assist to review the Internal Labour Regulation, Employee Disciplinary Policy, Employee Handbook, etc.
**_General Responsibilities_**
- Assist in relevant HR Audit, MI, regulatory reporting and OPS Risk management;
- Expat services coordinator ;
Any other project or tasks as required.
**Job Requirements**
- BSc/BA or above in Human Resources Management or relevant field;
- 5 year experience in HR. Experience in Banking Industry is preferrable;
- Understanding of HR legislation, policies and processes;
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently;
- Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude; change mind-set
- Be able to work under pressure
- Can communicate with internal staff and external stakeholders.
