, we are seeking a
Business Development / Expansion Partner
to lead commercial development and establish strong partnerships with agencies, brands, and studios in the region.
Role Overview
The position is responsible for driving Otsu Labs' market entry and growth in Vietnam and Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate will identify new business opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and manage commercial negotiations in the animation and digital production sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute market entry and business development plans for Vietnam and SEA.
- Analyze market trends and identify key sectors such as advertising, gaming, and entertainment.
- Build and maintain partnerships with agencies, brands, and production companies.
- Identify co-production and outsourcing opportunities.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract closure.
- Represent Otsu Labs at industry events and networking activities.
- Support the establishment of local operations and recruitment efforts.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or client management within the animation, creative, or production industries.
- Solid understanding of 2D/3D production pipelines and agency workflows.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Vietnamese.
- Proven track record in deal-making and client relationship management.
- Strong knowledge of Vietnam's creative and advertising landscape.
- Regional experience across SEA or existing network in advertising, gaming, or entertainment is a plus.
