Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The Sales Business Consultant (Sales B2B SaaS) will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, and building client relationships. Daily tasks include conducting detailed consultations, presenting SaaS solutions, negotiating contracts, and ensuring client satisfaction. The role also involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to align customer needs with product offerings.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in New Business Development and Lead Generation
  • Strong Communication and Client Relationship Management skills
  • Knowledge of Business and Sales processes in the SaaS industry
  • Ability to work strategically to meet sales targets
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
  • Proficiency in CRM tools is an advantage

Responsibilities:

(1) Revenue Generation

  • Leverage warm/hot leads from Marketing (lead allocation depends on level) and from personal networks/referrals to generate new sales opportunities through:

Business Analysis: Research business problems, explore, analyze needs and digital transformation maturity of potential customers.

Presentation / Demo / Showcase: Design tailored technology solutions, build simulated datasets and demo scripts that fit customer scenarios.

POC (Proof of Concept): Build, consult and align on the Digital Transformation roadmap.

Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate and finalize cooperation terms (Quotation, Contract, Payment…).

  • Drive post-sales revenue growth through up-selling & cross-selling with existing accounts (in collaboration with AM & CSM teams).

(2) Customer Success

  • Work closely with Customer Success team to implement solutions and ensure customers achieve successful adoption.
  • Develop long-term post-sales customer relationships. Collaborate with Marketing to build case studies and spread successful digital transformation stories to other businesses.

Key Goals & Metrics

  • Revenue: Monthly revenue quota
  • Opportunity: Number of newly opened sales opportunities per week
  • Conversion Rate: Lead-to-customer conversion rate

Role Challenges

  • Performance-Based Compensation: We apply a strict performance-based earning model. Income is proportional to results.
  • Opportunity: You can earn very high income regardless of seniority. Many Seniors at Base are very young with outstanding earnings.
  • Risk: Income will not meet expectations if results are not achieved.
  • Up or Out: To maintain talent density and top-tier performance, you only have 2 directions up or out.
