B - About the role

The Business Development Executive will play a key role in expanding Birdeye's enterprise client base, driving revenue growth, and strengthening our market position in the blockchain data industry. You will directly engage high-value clients, lead end-to-end deal execution, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product–market alignment.

Working location: Hybrid (Hanoi Office)

I - Your Responsibility

Drive Enterprise Sales and Client Success

  • Identify and Pursue High-Value Clients: Actively map the market and independently source enterprise prospects. Prioritize accounts with strong growth potential and initiate outreach instead of relying on inbound leads.
  • Craft Targeted Proposals: Develop well-structured, insight-driven proposals tailored to specific client needs. Clearly communicate how Birdeye's data solutions solve real business challenges and deliver measurable value.
  • Lead Deal Execution: Manage the full sales cycle from qualification to closing. Build trust with key stakeholders, handle objections effectively, and secure deals that support Birdeye's revenue and adoption goals.
  • Proactive Client Management: Maintain regular touchpoints with clients to ensure smooth onboarding, product adoption, and long-term satisfaction. Identify upsell and expansion opportunities based on client goals.
  • Drive Continuous Feedback: Gather feedback from customers throughout the relationship. Analyze common themes and collaborate with Product to improve product fit and reduce friction points.

Expand Birdeye's Market Presence

  • Represent Birdeye in the Market: Participate in relevant events, webinars, and networking opportunities to raise Birdeye's visibility and connect with potential partners and customers.
  • Track Market Trends: Stay informed on competitor activities, customer needs, and industry developments. Use these insights to refine BD tactics and suggest product improvements.

Strengthen Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work Closely with Internal Teams: Actively coordinate with Business Head, Product, and Engineering. Share client insights, clarify use cases, and help ensure the product roadmap reflects real market demand.

Research and Evaluate New Market Opportunities

  • Explore Crypto Data Opportunities: Conduct focused research on emerging crypto data segments and new verticals. Identify potential use cases and opportunities where Birdeye can expand its product offering.
  • Analyze the Data Solutions Landscape: Continuously assess competitor products, pricing models, customer expectations, and market gaps to support better strategic decisions.
  • Assess Birdeye's Competitive Positioning: Evaluate Birdeye's strengths and improvement areas. Recommend practical steps to enhance differentiation and competitiveness.

II - What you bring

  • 1-3 years of experience in B2B Business Development or Sales at a proficient level to independently manage the full sales cycle - from prospecting and pitching to objection handling and closing - aligned with Birdeye's revenue goals.
  • At least 1 year of outbound prospecting experience at a proficient level to independently build and prioritize enterprise lead lists without relying on inbound sources.
  • Advanced proposal-writing and solution-pitching skills to craft insight-driven, customized proposals that clearly articulate how Birdeye's solutions address client needs.
  • Foundational to intermediate knowledge of SaaS, data products, or crypto at a working-knowledge level to accurately explain product value and collaborate effectively with Product and Engineering teams.
  • At least 1 year of experience in client management at an intermediate level to maintain customer touchpoints, support onboarding, ensure adoption, and identify upsell opportunities.
  • Intermediate market and competitor analysis skills to track industry trends, assess the data solutions landscape, and contribute insights for strategic and product improvements.
  • Advanced communication and cross-functional collaboration skills to effectively relay client insights and support alignment between Business, Product, and Engineering teams.
  • Strong research capabilities to explore emerging crypto data verticals and identify new market opportunities relevant to Birdeye's expansion.
  • A high level of proactiveness, independence, and ownership to self-manage work, respond quickly to market dynamics, and perform effectively in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Advanced negotiation and objection-handling skills to address client concerns effectively and drive deals toward successful closure.
  • Strong English proficiency (both written and spoken) to communicate with global clients, prepare professional proposals, and collaborate with cross-regional teams.
  • High energy, adaptability, and a strong growth mindset to thrive in a fast-moving startup environment, embrace challenges, handle demanding workloads, and contribute actively to Birdeye's rapid growth.
