In your new role you will:

- Responsible for **engineering activities **to ensure that business objectives are met. Includes the **creation, development, design, and improvement of products and procedures in functional verification, analogue layout & design fields **.
- Lead local development team to **deliver design work packages for business lines worldwide.**:

- **Provide support for all projects **executed in the team, manage workload, balance assignments and support priority decisions in alignment with functional counterpart managers worldwide.
- **Drive collaboration **among local team members and worldwide functional teams, to achieve project success.
- **Setup and manage stake-holders communication **to enable team efficiency and recognition.
- **Manage and develop site competency.**:

- **Provide coaching & mentoring **, support people’s growth & development, enable required trainings.
- **Develop **next-level managers.
- **Ensure continuous improvements **to be state-of-the-art in methodology and skills. Instil & promote company culture in Development Centre to provide seamless integration within the global development network.
- Helps to **develop and execute strategic partnerships **for outsourcing, suppliers, and research institutes.
- **Manage Design Centre **operative aspects including budget management & legal people management.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or Science.
- At least 10-12 years of hands-on experience in **functional verification of product/IP’s. **Experience in **analogue design and layout **is an advantage.
- Deep knowledge in **state-of-the-art IC functional verification strategies, methodologies & tools to drive the development team, including technical leads.**:

- **Proven experience in leading larger teams (> 10 engineers) **including all people management aspects (development, coaching, budget,). Strong people leadership, ability to motivate & grow team members to perform at their best level.
- **Demonstrated experience in developing teams, coaching, and mentoring people.**:

- Capability to **manage uncertainty **and provide clear directions & decisions.
- Good communication and presentation skills with experience managing stakeholders in an international context.
- You possess an innovative mindset, out-of-the-box thinking and able to drive continuous improvements & innovation.
- Exposure to automotive, functional safety and requirements-driven development flow is an advantage.
- Fluent in English.
