Business Manager

**Job Description**:
- To manage Field Force team especially District Managers in region via coaching, training to implement marketing strategy and tactical plan in alignment with company policy (corporate code) to ensure business objectives are met.
- Assure consistence business growth and achievement business goals by identifying opportunities and gaining new business while maintaining and growing existing business.
**PRIMARY ACTIVITIES**
- ** Business Planning**
- _ Must have Business Plan of territory in charge_
- _ Maintain high level of knowledge of direct Reports, customers, competitors and channels_
- _ Conduct regular reviews of segmentation and targeting to ensure effective use of assigned resources_
- _ Set sales and activity targets by Area/ by Team_
- _ Allocate sales and market resources across areas to optimize performance_
- _ Build plan for Sale forces of the future model_
- ** Business Implementation**
- _ Implement BU / Brand marketing and sales initiatives_
- _ Identify sources of new business._
- _ Ensure effective implementation of activity plans_
- _ Conduct Field Force Cycle and Field Force Manager meetings which maintain Team Management, Market knowledge, Coaching skills, focus and motivation_
- ** Customer Engagement**
- _ Identify key customers and accounts for district_
- _ Maintains working relationship with key customers (eg. KOL, KDM, Formulary Manager,..)_
- _ Leverages knowledge and relationships to support team members sales efforts_
- ** Tracking Performance & responding to results**
- _ Monitor performance of team and competitors to identify issues and opportunities_
- _ Develop responses to exploit opportunities and address performance issues_
- _ Budget, monitor and adjust departmental expense to drive productivity_
- ** Recruitment and Development of sales team members**
- _ Recruit, Select and train District Managers ,Sales representatives_
- _ Set objectives for team members_
- _ Evaluate performance vs objectives as per set review periods and providing timely feedback and corrective actions_
- _ Conduct in-field coaching to improve performance and competencies and skills ( Coaching / Budget Management/ Target Allocation)_
- _ Work with team members to assess developmental needs and set developmental objectives_
- _ Identify development opportunity in line with individual and teams development needs as well as career development_
- _ Ensure high level of product and professional knowledge of the team is maintained_
- ** Ensure Alignment with company policy**
- _ Operates with in policies and guidelines_
- _ Ensure sales team alignment with policies and guidelines_
- _ Proactive to plan ands execute to manage risk for field force activities_
- ** Key Communications**:
- _ Business Unit Director, District Managers, Medical Representatives,_
- _ Key Customers._
- _ MKT, CFT (HR-SFE-DDnA....), senior country leasership team..., regional team_
**EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES**
**_ Desired Experience/Education/Skills:_**
- Well-Developed Interpersonal Skills and Professional Demeanour
- Work under the guidelines and directives of the Director of Sales /BU Manager for all campaigns (personal and team).
- Expert knowledge of products and diseases and the health care system.
- Excellent understanding of sales and marketing principles and process, commercial acumen.
- Good decision-making, planning and project management, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Highly effective sales, relationship building, communication and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated mentoring and coaching skills, leadership potential.
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal English
- University graduate in Pharmacy or Medicine (or medical physician or pharmacist).
- 3+ years experience in hospital products in the same position (vaccine field)
- Experience working in multi-national company.
- Management qualification preferred.
