Head of Commercial Excellence

**SUMMARY**:
- This position is important role in strategic projects that require senior level and more workload, so that directly impacts to business (business size: $ 72.4M for total Trade and Hospital Sales).
- Expand the scope of work to manage training team from October 2020.
**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**1.** **Major Accountabilities**:
- Oversee the implementation and monitoring of a business intelligence model to drive customer segmentation and targeting. Focus on driving sales force effectiveness initiatives.
- Create the mechanism and process to capture, analyze and use market level data to better understand the current competitive environment; identify attractive growth opportunities and new customer targets and create value propositions to support and build competitive advantage in co-operation with marketing and sales team.
- Translate strategic objectives into operational plans. Contribute to sales and marketing strategic decisions that positively influence sales growth.
- Provide Business Development support to the General Manager, including but not limited to, providing insights and competitive intelligence activity and process, dissemination of business intelligence to Senior Management Team, contribute to strategic planning process by interpreting and communicating key trends and recommendations on business opportunities related to those trends.
- Drive the Sales and Operation Process by moving towards a commercial-driven mindset to both drive sales and realize cost savings. Lead resource in bonus design and calculations.
- Educate the organization in concepts, processes, methodology and benefits of SFE. Validate strategic products of the affiliate through analysis of profitability in the mid and long term. Carry out gap analysis of current sales structure and strategy.
- Lead and provide analytic strategies to link processes and results such as: Value universe analysis, concentration curves, overlap analysis, targeting effectiveness analysis, analyses of productive frequencies, situation and gap analysis of targeting process in the affiliate.
- Design alternative scenarios to close identified gaps. Propose and facilitate decision-making process on new sales force strategy. Expert involvement in geographical deployment, people implications (hire, terminate, reallocate). Review incentive plans.
- Measure metrics, data analysis, monitor and propose any corrective actions. Partner with other areas (HR, IT, Market Research, Commercial, Medical, Training, etc.) to define and implement processes to optimize productivity.
- Conduct analysis to link processes and results. Provide feedback to key players in the process (Product Managers, Sales areas, Medical, Training, finance.).
- Expand the support for duplicating SFE tools and system for other APAC countries as project base.
- Lead training team to define the strategy for building FF capability, developing new capability in line with commercial strategy and market trend like MCE, key account management; build up system for monitoring and tracking training performance and FF competency progress.
- Ensure the effective management of customer database, sales report system, SFE tools, SFDC, CRM.
**2. Principle Challenges**
- Expected to develop path-finding or leading edge solutions, concepts, or approaches. The position typically faces unique situations or complex issues for which there are no past examples in the industry or profession.
**3. Decision Making Authority**
- Determines end results company needs to accomplish, sets objectives to achieve end results, and determines how objectives will be achieved. Establishes operating objectives and functional policies, usually through membership on the senior executive team.
- Setting annual objectives and budget relating to commercial excellence and manage the operation to achieve the objectives.
**4. Financial Accountability**
- EPD annual sales: $ 75 million
- Department budget: $ 3 million
**5. Additional Information**
- This job covers number of functions including Salesforce effectiveness, training, and system and plays as the key critical role in number of strategic projects of the affiliate to drive both topline and bottom line

**MINIMUM BACKGROUND/ EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:

- Minimum 10 years experience in related field.
**MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED**:
- Bachelor’s degree in any major.
- Preferably MBA with focus on Strategy, Marketing and Finance.
