**Responsibilities**:
This is the “go to” person leading a team for all financial, accounting and analytical needs of a dynamic IT services company, reporting to the global Chief Financial Officer in the USA and serving as the senior most financial executive in Vietnam. Staff includes a dedicated team of finance and accounting personnel in Vietnam and Mexico and shared finance staff in the USA. The company is growing rapidly and evolving to meet new business opportunities.

More specifically, responsibilities include:

- Leaders the global finance and accounting team including all aspects of accounting, financial analysis and reporting, and tax compliance
- Own use of all accounting systems, including implementation and integration of new tools to promote efficiency & scalability
- Develop and implement new processes for analysis of customer contracts, audit preparedness and global treasury
- Develop and implement career trees to maximize the professional development and career paths of finance and accounting team members

We seek a star who is not only capable of running all financial operations today, but also who can take KMS to the next level of financial professionalism as the company grows rapidly over the next 10 years.

**What this Role is Not**:

- This role is not for a big company finance person comfortable in a rigid or bureaucratic organization, nor is it for a corporate middle manager seeking authority by the size of their departmental organizational chart. KMS is highly dynamic and entrepreneurial. This role requires someone able to think critically and who can adapt to solve evolving issues that arise.
- This role is not for a “9 to 5” employee who seeks to hide and collect a paycheck. This role has exposure and includes working with global executives and the Board of Directors. As a global company, leaders are on calls and zoom meetings during “off” hours of the early morning and evenings because of global time zones.
- This role is not for an overly quantitative financial analyst or inflexible accountant. We seek someone who understands finance and accounting very well and also has the business acumen and communication skills to work with colleagues including non-financial personnel.

**Qualifications**:

- ** Education**: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. CPA (or equivalent) is expected.
- ** Leadership**:Proven experience as a finance leader, with at least 15 years of progressive financial management experience. Can motivate, mentor, and develop a high-performing team (currently of about 12 people). Can contribute to business discussions with non-financial executives.
- ** Global skills**:Experience working in a global environment and spent considerable time living, working and/or being educated outside of Vietnam and Southeast Asia.
- ** Financial skills**: Strong financial acumen and understanding of financial concepts, principles, and practices. Able to develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and policies to support business objectives.
- ** Business skills**: Able to work closely with non-financial executives and to train up-and-coming finance team members. Able to analyze a situation and make recommendations to the executive team.
- ** Accounting & compliance**: Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and practices, financial statement analysis and reporting. Familiar with compliance requirements in Vietnam. Can work with the team and advisors to ensure compliance in other countries.
