The role of ALM Treasury trader is to prudentially manage the liquidity position and market risks inherent in the Balance Sheet, in the allocated portfolio of currencies - staying within the delegated limits and in compliance with regulatory ratios - and under the Head of ALM Treasury’s supervision.

The ALM Treasury trader contributes to the achievement of the prudential mandate.

Allocated currencies: major currencies VND, EUR, USD and other currencies with small exposures in SGD, JPY, THB, AUD, GBP, CAD,CHF

Assisting Global Markets with approved activities as mentioned below

**Direct Responsibilities**:
**ALMT Responsibilities**:

- **Liquidity Analysis and Operational Management**
- Support the analysis of the liquidity of BNPP Hanoi branch balance-sheet and prepare funding planning for mainly VND and USD in coordination with Head of ALMT Vietnam
- Provides information to local stakeholders regarding the main determinants of their liquidity position mainly in VND, USD and EUR
- Manage Liquidity in VND and USD, short-term and long-term (when necessary, and in coordination with APAC ALM) as per Group guidelines
- Perform liquidity analysis for rest of allocated currencies (where the Branch has substantially smaller exposures) as and when need arises
- **Liquidity Prudential Management**
- Prudentially manage the liquidity position in allocated currencies within the delegated limits and in compliance with regulatory ratios where applicable
- Comply with local and global Regulations (mandatory reserves requirement; local and consolidated liquidity ratios; local and group stress tests; cash transfers between the entity and the Parent company ) as well as with the Bank’s established procedures (desk policies including prudential policies, market, credit and liquidity risk policies)
- Monitor collateral portfolio in VND (regulatory and Central Bank eligible), both for payment/clearing purposes and for monetization goals
- Ensure good knowledge of SBV liquidity accesses and activate them when appropriate
- Manage intra-day liquidity in allocated currencies.
- **Market Operations Management**
- Monitor and manage the interest rate risks exposure and liquidity gaps of the bank's balance sheet in allocated currencies, and support the business development / growth concerning funding needs
- Manage the VND, USD, EUR portfolio through various cash and allowed derivatives products.
- Hedge the VND, USD, EUR liquidity positions, internally or externally, as required by outcome of analysis
- Manage the local accounting results with foreign exchange transactions
- Manage local liquidity buffer established by the Head of ALMT Vietnam
- Ensure optimization of interest rate positions
- Comply with operational risk control framework and Key Responsibilities of Capital markets Front Officers
- To be the first backup for ALMT trader in HCM on ALMT activities

**Contributing Responsibilities**:

- **Market Operations Management**
- Contribute in achievement of prudential mandate
- Contribute to the Permanent Control framework
- Contribute to the reporting of all incidents according to the Incident Management System
- Anticipate and manage crisis situation
- Ensure good communication with various BNPP branches and network.
- **Group Liquidity Optimization**
- Liquidity Buffer : help the Head of ALMT Vietnam to implement local liquidity buffer management, according to Group guidelines
- Collaborate with other business lines in securing client business within ALMT’s principles and guidelines
- **Group Reputation**
- Continue to promote BNPP Hanoi branch as a player in major currencies VND, USD and EUR
- Protect the Group’s name and reputation in the market place, notably through an adequate pricing policy
- Contribute to enhancing ALMT desk image within the Bank

**Global Markets Responsibilities**:

- Under supervision of Global Macro Trading team to book back to back squaring deals between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh branches into systems within allowed limits by both local regulators and approved by regional Global markets management
- Under the supervision of Global Macro Sales team to help on daily Global Macro sales activities which are approved by local regulator and regional Global Markets management( except for driving client flows
- Coordinate with other Global Macro to follow up on client’s required documents and prepare presentations/reports to expand client portfolio in Vietnam
- Liaise with Regional E-distribution team on electronic trading activities for both Corporate and Financial institutional clients
- To ensure all dealings are in compliance with regulatory, contractual and internal authorized framework
- Attend relevant training courses to maintain appropriate regulatory, product and technical skills
- Maintain open communication with the team and direct line management to fulfil firm notification requirements and pass on client concerns
