As a Sales Manager-Leisure, you will analyze local market trends and competitor activity to recommend strategies that keep the hotel a leader in the marketplace through the development of future and repeat business. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
**What will I be doing?**
- Analyze local market trends and competitor activity to identify business leads;
- Develop relationships with international and domestic travel agencies and travel within the local area to drive business into the specific hotel/cluster and to increase market/customer share in all revenue streams;
- Negotiate room rates/packages with travel agencies for both FITs and GITs;
- Recognize and execute opportunities for Hilton Honors as well as other hotel incentives programmers
- Prepare company contracts for the hotel in accordance with current business and pricing conditions;
- Work within current business strategies and recognize potential opportunities;
- Cooperate with other departments in the hotel to create an exceptional Guest experience and build strong, comprehensive sales programs;
- Attend Sales events, as required;
- Produce accurate and timely reports that meet the needs of the Director of Sales and senior management, including appointments, calls made and business leads;
- Answer customer queries in a prompt and professional manner;
- Assist the Head of the department with recruiting, managing, training, and developing the Team Members;
- Attend training and meetings when required.
- Carry out any other reasonable task set by the Hotel's Management

- At least 3 years of relevant experience in international hotel chains.
- Good English, reading and writing skills to meet business needs.

- Understand local customers and have strong market analysis ability.
- Have certain customer resources.
