Zalopay, Partnership Marketing Lead

As a Partnership Marketing Specialist/Lead at ZaloPay, you will be the trusted delegate from Marketing team to join the big, cross-functional squad known as “Merchant Acquisition”. You will NOT do the “sales” job yourself, but instead are expected to provide Marketing expertise to help the Business Development stakeholders win key strategic merchants (through your well-designed Marketing solutions) and afterwards, help drive their growth during the incubation period (through campaigns & communication plans).**Detailed scopes include**:
- Research new business models; collect merchant, user & market insights; and analyze, consolidate these findings into customized Marketing Solutions for each key potential partners, which will be used as a key hook to successfully convince them to become ZaloPay merchants.
- Accompany Business Development team to join pitching meetings with Merchants; prepare Marketing proposals with excellent story-telling & skillfully deliver verbal presentation for Marketing parts (if requested) during these pitching sessions.
- Develop overall marketing strategy for key strategic merchants during the first phase after onboarding; Most importantly: Prepare and implement 360-degree Launching Campaign plan, including Umbrella concept, Commercial (Promotion) and Branding & Communications activities.
- Supervise & Coordinate with Marketing Operation and other internal teams on the execution of these activities to ensure well-organized timeline; Perform day-to-day review to closely track their performance; Aggressively tack any arising issues & provide trouble-shooting solutions if needed.
- Design framework to build different Marketing tools, tactics & solutions into standard Marketing packages to offer for sales/exchange with merchants.
- Maintain close relationship and proactively collaborate with merchants/partners’ Marketing PIC to develop co-promotion campaigns, co-branding activities & other win-win marketing solutions.
- Keep a watchful eye on Product-related aspects; Join the Product Team in giving suggestions on UI/UX improvements and new promotion features to serve merchants’ need and enhance user experience.
- Other tasks as assigned by line managers.
**NOTE**:This job will report to Marketing Manager, Merchant Business Unit and start first as a non-managerial position (no team members under); but will be open to leadership possibilities later, depending on the growth of business and/or your performance.

- ** Education**: Bachelor’s or Master Degree from a top, reputable University, preferably in Marketing, Economics, or Business Administration.
- ** Experience**:From 4-6 years of experience in:
**(a) Growth Marketing**:Campaign Planning & Management; Brand Marketing; Product Marketing; Growth Strategy & Planning; Project Management in E-commerce/E-wallet or other Internet/Tech Companies (Ridehailing, Food-delivery, etc); or
**(b) Strategic Planner **from top Marketing Agency who have taken on projects related to these Tech industries.
- Great flexibility and multi-tasking since this position requires dealing with potential merchants/partners across all kinds of industries.
- Business skillsets required: Market research, Strategy & Planning, Branding and Communication, Campaign Planning, Data Analytics & Insight Driving, & Project Management
- Soft-skills: Excellent communication & presentation; Strong interpersonal skills & good problem-solving to work well with different partners, stakeholders & team members of different levels.
- Excellent English, both verbal & written, since many of ZaloPay’s potential merchants are big global names
