Job summary:

Adecco's client is an international school whose global network is from USA to Asia. The school will be a premium K-12 international school Hanoi and provide excellent educational quality.

Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

  • Plans, prepares, monitors and analyzes the School's financial budgets and periodic reporting.
  • Overall responsibility for the financial assets of the School and shortterm investments.
  • Supervision for the controls of the accounting and banking activities.
  • Oversees all activities relating to the collection of all funds and disbursement of all current and capital expenditures.

Human Resource Management:

  • Ensures that all aspects of the School's hiring, review, development, disciplinary and grievance policies comply with all regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Overall responsible for the HR policies and procedures of the School.
  • Ensures all HR documentation, contracts and agreements are legal and regulatory compliant.
  • Oversees the appointment of all School employees to ensure proper salary and benefit arrangements.

Risk Management:

  • Responsibility for the Schools security policies and controls.
  • Implements and ensures the School's health, safety and emergency protocols.
  • Oversees all of the School's insurance policies and protections covering the School's assets, facilities, students, employees and visitors.
  • Ensures the School is compliant with all relevant Vietnamese regulations and laws.

Facilities and Operations:

  • Ensures the School's facilities are properly maintained at all times.
  • Responsible for all School capital projects.
  • Oversees all outsourced operations of the School.
  • Oversees the procurement, purchasing and supply management functions of the School.

Experience requirements:

  • Significant experience in a senior financial management role.
  • Ability to lead, develop and oversee all members of the School's business administration team.
  • Past experience in school administration, an accounting certification, and working experience in diverse environments are qualification advantages.
  • Strong business acumen with solid stakeholder management and influencing capabilities.
  • Flexible and agile working style suitable for a greenfield school operations.
  • Strong drive for organizational improvements.
  • Team oriented and spirited.
  • Fluent in written and spoken Vietnamese and English.

Education requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
