**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Development and deployment of defined commercial lane strategy, supporting commercial strategic direction maximize overall profitability.
- Development of standardized trade lane products including expansion of product/mode suite as well as ownership of the dynamic pricing process as well as close collaboration with Route management to execute.
- Collaborating with trade lane partner countries, route management and regional/global resources to ensure products on each trade lane are initially competitive.
- Support in the continuous development of the trade lane concept within Air & Sea in alignment and cooperation with the company.
- Expertise in country facts and knowledge, economic geography skills, competitor information, key and target accounts.
- Attend networking events and build industry connections in order to support the business growth, with a focus on and from defined markets and trade lane.
- Partner across the entire organization to support both growth / pipeline build up towards the commercial goals and priorities.
- In close collaboration with customers in general and strategic customers in particular, explore new business opportunities to broaden and execute on business potential.
- Monthly reporting and analysis of business budgets, status, progress and plans -and WINS
- Business intelligence surveillance in the market to ensure constant track of competitor situation and use of knowledge to promote Company strategic priorities and opportunities in close collaboration with COO.
- Take up additional assignments/tasks as required to meet with the Company needs.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Foreign national or oversea resident a plus
- 5+ years experience in business development in forwarding industry
- Proven track record of securing commercial results in a mid-sized commercial organization, ideally with international working experience
- US trade lane experience a plus
- Preferred already based in Vietnam
- Fluent in English, Vietnamese a plus
- Strong communication, influencing and presentation skills, commercially driven
