**Job Title: National Sales Manager - Public & General Customers**
**Location: Vietnam - Ho Chi Minh or Hanoi**

**About the role**:
Vaccine Business Unit (VBU) at Takeda Vietnam carry the mission of protecting Vietnamese people against dengue fever, a disease which remains a high burden to healthcare system globally as well as in the country.

In May 2024, TAK-003 (Takeda’s dengue vaccine) was granted marketing authorization by Vietnam local health authority. Vietnam VBU is now at the most exciting stage of preparing the market and bringing TAK-003 to Vietnamese people within the year 2024.

National Sales Manager (NSM) will be part of the leadership team of Vietnam VBU at Takeda. The NSM - Public and General Customers will play a critical role in shaping the strategy towards a sustainale growth of Takeda’s Dengue Vaccine (TAK-003) in Vietnam from commercial perspective and with a focus on customers (influencers and prescribers related to immunization setting) at public sectors and other general accounts in private sector.

**How you will contribute**:
Following are the areas of focus for the position of NSM - Public and General Customers at Takeda Vietnam:
**1) **P**eople Leadership**

**_ By joining Takeda VN in 2024, this role will be able to:_**
- Take the lead in setting up a fresh, dynamic and capable team including Sale area managers and Medical Sales Representatives. The number of headcounts may be expanded upon the growth of the business over time.
- Take the challenge of coaching and training team members on technical skills and soft skills within a short time frame (less than 3 months).

**_ In the long term, this role will play crucial role in:_**
- Providing prompt coaching, guidance, feedback and support to maximize sales team's performance in long term.
- Develop and build a high-performance team and the source of talents for Takeda
- Together with Takeda LT and Vx LT, the NSM will drive the values that has defined Takeda over the last 243 years, in which Patient - Trust - Reputation - Business is the backbone for all decisions at Takeda in this order.
- Being the role model in ensuring highest standard in conducting all sale force engagement with HCPs and customers in compliance with VN Pharma law and other code of conducts in VN and defined by Takeda.

**2) **C**ustomer Management**
- Be the first point of contact for customers in Public and General accounts for all queries related to TAK-003 vaccine.
- Set up the foundation for KOL and HCP engagement plan for the team.
- Define annual strategic direction and quarterly action plan for customer engagement at Public and General customers that will be aligned with overall Takeda Vaccine business and brand strategy.
- Take the lead to guide the entire team to build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with customers and partners, understanding their unique needs and delivering tailored solutions with excellence.
- Work closely with the NSM (peer) in charge of Stragegic Customers, marketing team and medical team to ensure One-Takeda image and One voice to KOLs and HCPs across channels nationwide.

**3) **Sale**s Performance Excellence**
- Define SMART KPIs in terms of Sales target and Sales Force Effectiveness for the dedicated sales team and its team members.
- Drive a culture of sales excellence and continuous improvement.
- Ensure aligning the entire team’s activities with the Vaccine BU’s objectives and marketing plans.
- Lead and manage tender process for optimizing the business opportunities towards public accounts when and where is required.
- Coordinate with cross team in customer complaint handling if there is.
- Work effectively with Marketing and Commercial Excellence colleagues for forecasting, target planning and allocation, data tracking, consolidation and analysis, including but not limited to tender, promotional scheme at vaccination centers for Takeda’s vaccine and other vaccine that may impact team’s performance.
- Stay abreast of market information and market trend (including updated news on regulation related to our business, customer insights, market insights, sales out at account level and in-arm data of our vaccine, etc.) to guide the team.

**4) **OPEX Management**
- Take full accountability of managing OPEX assigned for Public and General Customers channel (external activities and internal team members).

**What you bring to Takeda**:
**Education and Experience Requirements**

**Essential**:

- Mandatory to hold a university degree in medicine or pharmacy
- 5-8 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry with a minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management
- Minimum 3 years of experience in people leadership
- Compliance mind-set is a must
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and Vietnamese

**Desired**:

- Experience in vaccine, regardless of role and responsibilities
