**Position Summary**

The Student Administration Officer is responsible for utilising systems and processes involved in administering all aspects of students’ enrolment from first enrolment to graduation. This includes but is not limited to processing student enrolments and enrolment variations, supporting student examinations and graduations. This position will be responsible for resolving enrolment issues as well as all associated tasks that fall under RMIT Vietnam’s policy and procedural framework.

**Reporting Line**

Reports to: Senior Coordinator, Enrolments & Records

**Key Accountabilities**
- Responsible for student administration processes concerning student enrolments throughout the student lifecycle. This includes processing enrolments, enrolment variations, other forms, and billing.
- Solve complex procedural and client service issues and provide policy and procedural advice to other members of Student Admissions and Student Connect.
- Ensure data entry and checking of student information is performed with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ensure all documentation collected relating to students is complete, accurate and unambiguous, securing confidentiality and privacy.
- Collect and analyze data on student administration operations for the purposes of quality improvement.
- Undertake any other duties that may be required.

**Key Selection Criteria**

1. A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a relevant discipline, or other equivalent work experience.

2. Experience in administrative systems and processes.

3. Demonstrated experience in a complex customer service environment.

4. Skilled in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point and experience using database systems.

5. Keen attention to detail and accuracy when inputting data and managing information.

6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

7. Demonstrated ability in liaising with people at all levels and areas of an organisation, for example, students, academic staff, and management, as well as with people in industry, government, and other organisations.

8. Ability to display appropriate behaviours in line with the position and RMIT Behavioural Capability Framework.

**English Proficiency**

English is the language of teaching and communication at RMIT Vietnam. For this role, the minimum requirement is IELTS (General) with a score of at least 5.5 (or equivalent, as outlined in the Recruitment, Selection and Onboarding Guidelines).

For any role, English Language Proficiency may also be proven by showing successful completion of secondary education to a level qualifying to enter university study while being instructed through the medium of English, as per the RMIT University recognised qualification list.
