**Responsibilities**:

- Global Business Planning: Lead the annual process globally, ensuring the analysis and submission of BU inputs meet global planning standards.
- Compile BU Situation Analysis based on updated data from various sources, including primary research, secondary data, and input from regional functions.
- Assist countries with their Situation Analysis, Commercial Plan, and Operational Plan submissions, validating and ensuring alignment with regional and global guidelines.
- Coordinate with countries and functions to ensure timely and quality input.
- Develop Long-Term Strategy and execute Strategic Projects across the region.
- Direct the planning of strategic and long-range goals for the organization.
- Formulate BU Strategic Plans with clear objectives, target areas, and financial impact, collaborating with individual countries.
- Co-develop new strategies in specific regions and sub-categories, providing recommendations, translating them into actionable plans and budgets, and supporting implementation.
- Establish and lead strategic review processes for selected sub-categories or regions.
- Create regional growth programs, including channel expansion and innovative products or services.
- Collaborate with countries to address identified challenges and develop projects to tackle them.
- Identify growth opportunities with countries and develop projects with tracked KPIs.
- Market & Competitor Intelligence: Maintain an updated database on key competition, macro-economic indicators, and market data, and provide timely reports to internal clients.
- Gather data on the economy, consumers/customers, market, and competitors from various sources, structuring it meaningfully.
- Develop and maintain knowledge databases, filing relevant business information in existing or new platforms/systems.
- Release periodic reports on key competitors in the region, in collaboration with finance, marketing, country teams, and the global strategy & planning team.
- Develop a regional Brand and Demand Generation Strategy.
- Oversee branding strategy governance, approving brands for all assets.
- Collaborate with the global brand management team to translate global strategic brand communication into regional strategy and guide country implementation.
- Work with the Country Head of Marketing to identify common demand generation requirements across countries and develop regional initiatives to achieve business growth objectives.
- Prepare data analysis and presentations to support the business's strategy and planning requirements and handle ad-hoc requests.
- Collect quantitative and qualitative data from internal and external sources.
- Analyze and interpret data to derive insights and actionable strategies.
- Develop and manage the business's KPIs to forecast and analyze company performance, facilitating accurate budgeting, resource planning, and goal setting.
- Host strategic review meetings and facilitate ad-hoc strategy workshops for management discussions.
- Foster close collaboration among the Country Head of Marketing and cross-BU functional management.

**Experience requirements**:

- Strong analytical abilities are crucial, enabling the interpretation of both quantitative and qualitative data effectively.
- Familiarity and proficiency with secondary databases, search engines, and business research tools are advantageous.
- A minimum of 7-10 years of overall work experience in Business/Marketing is required, with
