**Summary**:
The work schedule for this position is:

- Full Time 40 hours per week. The incumbent will be expected to work some night shifts. Actual work schedule will be designated by supervisor.

Duties

Working under the Supervisory Administrative Assistant of the Overseas Building Operations (OBO) project team, incumbent of this position will obtain customs clearance for incoming and outgoing official shipments in support of the New Embassy Compound (NEC) Hanoi. The incumbent will also work with the relevant Vietnamese Ministry to facilitate vehicle registration and inspection.

Qualifications and Evaluations

**Requirements**:
**EXPERIENCE**: At least two years of experience in customs, shipping, or logistics is required.

**JOB KNOWLEDGE**:Must have:
Strong knowledge of local cargo, shipping, and customs procedures and regulations.

Strong knowledge of local laws and regulations governing all types of vehicle use, registration, insurance, import/export.

**Education Requirements**:
Completion of high school (grade 12) is required.

**Evaluations**:
**LANGUAGE**:
Good working knowledge in Speaking/Reading/Writing English is required. **(This will be tested.)**

Fluent in Speaking/Reading/Writing Vietnamese is required.

**SKILLS AND ABILITIES**:
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and Internet Research.

Good interpersonal skills to interface efficiently with various contacts including end users, vendors, trucking companies, local officials as well as post contacts.

Good knowledge of accepted record-keeping methods, to include developing a filing system, follow-up on projects, meeting deadlines.

**1. Allowances**:
- Miscellaneous Benefits Allowance: US$1,000 per annum for FSN-09 and below, and US$3,000 per annum for FSN-10 and above.

**2. Benefits**
- Tet Bonus - one-month basic salary
- Merit Based Compensation - annual salary increase based on performance
- Annual leave - 120 hours per year and the annual leave hours will increase every 5 years of creditable service according to local labor law
