Client Director, Software Sales

**RESPONDSIBILITIES**
- Grow long term pipeline, and deliver incremental net new license revenue_._
- Establish and grow deep trusted relationships with c-suite stakeholders who are decision-makers and influencers of buying decisions affecting our software products, at the target accounts
- Understand and anticipate the stakeholders’ business problems and position our software products as solutions to those problems in a way that demonstrates business value, so we are not selling on price
- Establish, maintain and increase a high level of c-suite customer satisfaction among target accounts, measured by episodic and periodic NPS
- Work with Customer Success teams to ensure our users are satisfied and renew software
- Work with the global Customer Advocacy team to ensure that key Target Account customers have one or more product specialist Advocates assigned and delivering relationship and business value
- Manage business partner interactions alongside the South Asia Channels teams and the APJ regional product specialist sales teams
- Work with the APJ Marketing team, and the Digital Sales team, to design and execute programs to generate leads that deliver long term qualified pipeline
- Understand the buying cycle and approval process of the target accounts
- Understand the budget cycle of the target accounts
- Understand the technical environment of the target accounts
- Prioritize expansion opportunities at existing customers (cross-sell and upsell), but also hunt and deliver new logos
- Package bundled multi-product deals that deliver strategic business value
- Focus primarily on Q+3 pipeline development and opportunity identification and qualification; deliver clean highly qualified deals into the pipeline and thus reduce our required closure rate and improve our Win rate / eliminate revenue leakage in current quarters
**REQUIREMENTS**
- Create a 3 year roadmap plan for demand generation and revenue growth from target accounts and territories, within 90 days
- Create account plans for each key strategic existing and target account, within 90 days of taking over each account
- **They are on quarterly bonus which is measured on attainment of targets for Software New License, Software Renewals and Software Services**:
- Must build new executive relationships and achieve C-suite connections across all stakeholders including LoB, Finance, Procurement, IT, Operations, CISO, CEO etc
- Mentoring and strategic account sales training to regional product specialist sales team members, and to Channel Sales team members
- Contribute to the development of collateral, and other intellectual capital, for use with our customers, channel partners, and influencers, working with our APJ Marketing team
- Proven record of key account and sales excellence
- Deep knowledge in one or two industries, minor in others
- On-premise and cloud enterprise software sales background
- Consultative and strategic sales history
