The teams are always looking to acquire business opportunities to drive Shopee to be the No. 1 e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan. The aim of the Business Development and Partnership teams is to provide Shopee’s buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices.
- Management end-to-end performance of Brand incubation & Brand management team
- Work with acquisition team and clusters to identify opportunities to improve performance and overall onboarding experience of new brands
- Conceptualize, execute and track new initiatives
- Manage internal and external stakeholders and act as a liaison for new brands
- Provide market insights from brand’s perspective through good understanding of products, sellers, market & competitor dynamics
- Provide forecast on seller performance
- Interact with relevant key stakeholders to resolve & de-bottleneck issues
- Review and suggest enhancements to streamline and improve the process
- Coach and groom new team member
**Requirements**:
- 3 - 8 years of experience (level of role will depend on the years of experience), relevant work experience in brand acquisition or e-commerce industry is a plus
- Holds a bachelor’s degree with excellent academic record
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Outstanding presentation skills
- Process-oriented and logical
- Practices a high level of confidentiality
- Strong team player and a capable individual contributor
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
- Solid analytical and problem solving skills
- Data driven and comfortable with synthesizing insights from a series of number
- Able to perform in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in English is a must
