Business Development Director

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Driving increasing business revenue, identifying and developing new opportunities
- Tracking new markets and emerging trends, recommending new products and services, proposing and developing new strategic partnerships
- Researching emerging trends and recommending new company offerings to satisfy customers’ needs.
- Identifying opportunities for the business to grow and increase profits.
- Finding potential partnership opportunities for the business with a view to expanding its reach and/or improving its processes.
- Full P&L accountability for an Agent(s) and new Distributor as a whole
- Own and manage new Agent relationships from an account management perspective, including ones that have been brought on board by predecessors; Account manage with excellence in order to grow these existing relationships
- Maintain a strong understanding of trends, competitive landscape and how they relate to company's goals
- Have a pulse on the industry landscape and always be chasing new opportunities
- Growth-oriented strategic and business planning and development; service line planning and development;
- Developing and implementing a sales strategy that includes: Prospecting; Introductory Meetings; Proposal Development; Pricing Recommendations;
- Analyze and identify areas of improvement in cost savings
- Oversees the daily workflow and schedules of the department. Reviewing workloads and manpower to ensure targets are met.
- Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
**Qualification**
- Problem identification, analysis, and resolution skills and ability to work with multiple priorities.
- Organization skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines; ability to develop and conduct presentations to groups.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail with effective prioritization and organization skills
- Possesses strong quantitative and problem-solving skills, innovative thinking and vision
**Required experience & education**
- 5+ years of Business Development / Account management experience
- Previously demonstrated experience in leading and/or building corporate Business Development or B2B
- Proven track record of success in pitching and executing new business deals
- Thrives in a fast-paced startup environment where self-direction and initiative are highly encouraged
- Passionate, driven and eager to learn and grow
