- The Guest Service Officer is responsible for the checking in and checking out of guests at the property. He/she is responsible for the efficient rooming of the guest, making the guest feel ‘at home’ and exceeding their expectation. Guest Service Officer is the main point of contact for the guest, coordinates the guests’ requests with the other departments, and ensures that services are delivered promptly and efficiently.- Job Description
- Responsible for checking in guests such as registering and assigning rooms to guests.
- Issues apartment access cards and escorts guests to their apartments.
- Manages guests’ accounts and information, and apartment availability in the system.
- Receives and transmits messages to guests promptly.
- Handles guest queries pertaining to facilities, services, registration, and information regarding shopping, banking, dining, entertainment, local events, etc.
- Handles and records guest comments and complaints and refers issues to the supervisor when necessary.
- Responsible and accountable for handling and safekeeping of cash and guest valuables.
- Perform simple bookkeeping activities, such as balancing cash accounts.
- Makes and confirms reservations.
- Perform any other duties as required and directed by the Guest Service Manager.- Job Requirement
- Having experience or background in the hospitality industry is preferable.
- Fresh graduates from the Hospitality University or/and Linguistic University (major: English) are encouraged to apply.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office eg. MSWord and MSExcel.
- Good coordination skills, meticulous, organized, neat, and diligent.
- Able to converse well in English.
