- Maximize revenues by communicating regularly with the Food and Beverage teams to implement agreed upon strategies, practices and promotions
- Have full knowledge of Bar menu
- Understanding of classic and modern cocktail techniques, food pairing,etc.
- Understanding the concept of the Bar, the vibe and the story.
- Train staff while creating and maintaining a professional, collaborative work environment.
- Maintain relationship with vendors to ensure beverage program is set up for continued success
- Manage the development of the drink menu, including cocktail menu development, wine and beer selections, including seasonal changes
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of all bartenders to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of each location.
- Oversee the storage and organization of all alcoholic products, adhering to the proper organization and temperature standards
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service, focused on the highest standards of service and hospitality
- Maintain positive and productive working relationships with other employees and departments
- Adhere to hotel grooming standards at all times
- Use professional and polished language in all written and oral communication
- Lead with passion and enthusiasm with a commitment to excellence and a creative approach to Food & Beverage
- Dedicated to creating personalized experiences and lasting memories for our guests
- Assist the team on the floor in all functions as needed: bartending, serving, wine service, seating guests.
- Drive innovative promotions, menus and concepts; creating a destination of choice for both hotel and external guests
- Ensure the implementation of the highest standards in guest service, constantly seek out ways to improve product and service as well as increase volumes and profits
- Oversee the selection, training and development of bar team members to ensure timely recruitment and career growth
- Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
- Follow all safety policies
- Provide coaching and feedback to team members to effectively manage performance. Prepare and present annual employee performance evaluations
- Oversee for cleanliness, organization and housekeeping/maintenance standards
- Stand for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.
- Maintain proper posture while at the desk and work area.
- Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems
- Other duties as assigned

Yêu cầu công việc
- Education: High school diploma, college degree preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience as a bar manager or head bartender preferred.
- Understanding of beverage control including days on hand, perpetual inventory, bar pars, portion control, costs controls, beverage potentials, mix of sales analysis for beverage, issue & returns, food standards, and inventory.
- Knowledge with Wine, Spirits, Beer and other beverages required.
- Ability to build and maintain beverage, spirit, cocktail lists/programs.
- Strong culinary and wine knowledge.
- Solid understanding of inventory control systems
- Previous Point of Sale System experience preferred.
- Decent organizational and computer skills.
- Possess a gracious, friendly, and fun demeanor.
- Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and have a high-level attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and to partner with others to promote an environment of teamwork.
- Ability to analyze data and trends and create strategies for improvement.
- Creative, effective leader and team player, possessing a high degree of professionalism, sound human resources management principles, communication, administrative skills and the ability to make sound and timely business decisions.
- Results oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Sommelier qualification an asset.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule: weekends, holidays, AM, PM, overnight and overtime when needed.
