**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Collaborates with the Deputy Director, Unit General Managers, Revenue Manager, and Operations teams to formulate and implement effective revenue management strategies, aiming to optimize revenues while focusing on increasing Average Daily Rate (ADR) and overall business profitability.
- Works in close coordination with corporate functional leaders to ensure that the Flamingo property maximizes sales and marketing opportunities supported by Flamingo corporate resources, including SEO, PPC, Direct Marketing, Advertising, and Public Relations.
- Ensures proper deployment of the sales team and the availability of necessary resources, directing efforts toward the right market segments and participating in relevant trade shows.
- Oversees total hotel revenue, encompassing Food and Beverage, Banquets and Catering revenue, and provides assistance to other departments such as Spa, Fitness, etc. Manages financial aspects, including compensation and the processing of sales incentive payments.
- Develops and implements sales and marketing strategies by crafting a comprehensive Sales and Marketing plan, administering the budget, and establishing annual goals for the sales team. Analyzes relevant data to make informed recommendations and assists in creating individual SMART Plans.
- Approves and revises annual goals for the sales and catering team, working directly with the corporate sales and marketing team to devise strategies for public relations, advertising, and marketing/sales. Takes responsibility for managing approved plans.
- Executes action plans targeting existing and new accounts to surpass sales quotas within the assigned segment, emphasizing driving top-line revenue.
- Acts as a steward of the hotel's annual Sales and Marketing travel and marketing budget, working closely with the sales and catering team to achieve aggressive quarterly and annual production and consumption goals.
- Demonstrates financial acumen, engages in reporting and analytics, and takes ownership of managing expenses and wages/payroll for the Sales and Marketing department. Possesses knowledge of Hospitality Systems.
- Demonstrates effective team management and provides inspirational leadership in line with a passion for the industry.
**REQUIREMENT**:
- Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Hotel Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Extensive expertise in hospitality sales and marketing is highly valued.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Exceptional organizational abilities are a key requirement.
- Proficiency in delivering well-organized presentations is a must.
- Demonstrated business and financial acumen is a crucial asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with job-related processes and systems, including IT systems such as Delphi, Meeting Broker, and technologies used in sourcing group business (Lanyon, Starcite, Cvent).
- Willingness and ability to travel 25% of the time.
- Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Preferably, holds over 5 years of prior experience in Director-level hotel sales.
- Proven success in direct sales and new business development is highly desirable.
