  • YOUR ROLEThe Coordinator, Industry Engagement (Aviation program) is responsible for developing & coordinating RMIT Aviation industry engagement activities. The appointee will work closely with the RMIT Aviation Academy Director & Senior Program Manager, Aviation Program at the School of Science, Engineering & Technology (SSET), multiple stakeholders including industry partners, students, academic and professional staff. The role will also focus on building collaborative relationships with Aviation industry partners to ensure the successful delivery of RMIT Global Aviation's strategic plan.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Assist in the development and operation of partnership and development programs designed to identify and enhance cooperation under the direction of the RMIT Aviation Academy Director & Senior Program Manager, Aviation Program, SSET. Identify & develop industry partners for aviation programs Maintain relationships with industry partners via company visits, Industry Advisory Committee meetings, and other industry-engaging activities. Develop and manage data on key stakeholder management and industry engagement. Collaborate with Career Department in planning, identifying, and delivering suitable new internship opportunities for aviation program. Coordinate internship courses with Course Coordinator including internship visits, students' consultation & recommendations to enhance students' performance. Coordinate with industry partners to find Capstone projects for aviation students. Managing Work-Integrated

  • Learning (WIL) Agreement between RMIT Vietnam, Company & students for Capstone projects. Support Capstone Course Coordinator in all processes of Capstone Projects for aviation students.
  • Manage and execute all aviation event management and event administration under the Strategic Plan.

 KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant fields such as project management, engineering management or business management.
  • Knowledge & experience in Aviation industry.
  • Mature, selfmotivated, resultsoriented individual who enjoys working with both students and employers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including negotiation, liaison, crosscultural communication and report writing skills.
  • Outstanding time management and meticulous organization skills.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and respond to multiple changing priorities while demonstrating sound judgment and exercising prudent decision making.
  • Significant expertise and experience in the coordination of people and projects, and excellent management skills including the ability to plan and manage activities, to provide advice and to prioritise, monitor and evaluate work performance and flow.
