Finance Director

JOB OBJECTIVE:

Role Purpose

• We are looking for a
  Finance Director
  to lead and strengthen the financial foundation of our Group during a key transformation phase.
• This is not a "sit-behind-the-desk" role — it's for someone who wants to be hands-on, in the field, and deeply involved in the day-to-day finance and accounting operations.
• The Finance Director will be a
  builder and stabilizer
  — helping to shape our finance team, enhance systems, and create reliable financial discipline across all business units.
• You will partner closely with the Group CEO and key leaders to bring structure, transparency, and financial clarity to every decision — preparing the company for sustainable growth and the next stage of business transformation.

Expected Deliverables

1. Stabilize and professionalize the accounting function
   across all entities within the first 3–6 months, ensuring accuracy and compliance post-ERP go-live.
2. Establish a clear financial governance framework
   that integrates Accounting, Tax, Treasury, and FP&A under one standardized structure.
3. Develop and implement monthly group-level financial reports and performance dashboards
   that support data-driven decisions.
4. Build and empower a capable finance & accounting team
   , ensuring middle managers can independently manage day-to-day execution with consistency and reliability.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Strategic & Operational Leadership

• Act as a trusted financial partner to the Group CEO, contributing insights for key business and investment decisions.
• Oversee and integrate all financial functions:
  Accounting, Finance, Tax, and Treasury
  .
• Lead the
  post-ERP (FAST)
  rollout, ensuring all financial systems are accurate, consistent, and connected to business operations.
• Build and mentor a capable middle management layer, developing a culture of accountability, accuracy, and reliability.
• Connect finance with other functions (HR, Operations, Legal, Procurement) to ensure one aligned team and consistent execution.

2. Accounting Focus

• Take a hands-on role in stabilizing accounting operations across multiple entities.
• Review and improve processes for general ledger, reconciliations, reporting, and compliance under VAS and group policies.
• Lead the accounting team day-in and day-out, coaching and developing them to professionalize operations.
• Ensure smooth transition and accuracy during ERP system implementation and reporting integration.
• Prepare and present monthly financial statements, tax reports, and management summaries.

3. Financial Management & Reporting

• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of all financial statements, tax submissions, and consolidated reports.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, ensuring alignment between outlets and corporate offices.
• Drive effective cash flow management, capital allocation, and budget execution across all business units.
• Lead tax planning, audits, and compliance while optimizing current practices for efficiency and control.

4. Treasury & FP&A

• Build and manage the treasury structure to ensure smooth linkage between outlet-level accounts and central operations.
• Oversee working capital, liquidity, and funding plans to ensure business continuity and growth flexibility.
• Lead FP&A processes to provide financial forecasts, business insights, and scenario analysis that guide key decisions.

5. Systems, Compliance & Legal Coordination

• Work closely with HR, Legal, and C&B teams to ensure full compliance on tax, payroll, and reporting obligations.
• Support entity openings, restructures, and closures as part of the company's group-level reorganization.
• Ensure financial systems provide real-time, reliable data for accurate and timely decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in
  Finance, Accounting
  , or related field.
• CPA, ACCA
  , or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum
  10 years of progressive experience
  , including at least 2-
  3 years in a Finance Director or equivalent leadership role
  .
• Strong hands-on experience in
  Accounting, Tax, FP&A, Treasury
  , and
  ERP/system implementation
  .
• Experience in
  F&B, lifestyle, or multi-entity businesses
  is a strong advantage.
• Fluent in both
  English and Vietnamese
  .
