We're looking for a dynamic
General Manager
to take the helm of VINPALACE.

VINPALACE is Vinpearl's MICE & entertainment, culture and arts brand, bringing the largest convention, exhibition and theater complexes in Vietnam to Vingroup's megacities and tourist destinations.

In this role, you'll shape strategy, inspire teams, and lead execution across all departments to ensure we exceed our goals and delight our customers.

I.
JOB SCOPE:

  1. Training: improve and upgrade the employee's performance where needed.
  2. Operations: responsible for all aspects of operations at the hotel, to day-to-day staff management and guests. Should be an ambassador for the brand. Responsible for leading the management team (HOD's) and overall brand targets to deliver an excellent Guest experience.

II. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Organize and implement quality control to ensure all HODs work properly and sufficiently as per their job descriptions, and comply with all the standards, regulations and SOPs of the Company. General Manager needs to pay special attention to the following areas:

  1. On-site Sales & Marketing:
    Organize the implementation of sales on site to achieve assigned targets.
  2. Event schedules:
    Monitor event schedules in the propertíe (periodic and ad-hoc monitoring) accordance with company policies.
  3. Customer services:
    Be present at busy spots during peak hours to check the service quality, especially VIP guests.
  4. Food & Beverages:
    Ensure
    food quality, decoration, sound, lighting, food hygiene and safety are accordance with approved standard.
  5. Housekeeping:
    Monitor the décor, plants, interior furniture to ensure the 5-star look and feel in all areas, especially in the lobby and restaurants.
  6. Engineering:
    Conduct random check the condition and quality of frontline technical systems such as air-con, ventilation, water supply (water pressure, waiting time for hot water, water quality…), drainage (sewer back up in shower, toile flush system…), ventilation in WCs (siphon leak), lighting (brightness level).
  7. Security & Safety:
    Closely monitor the fire safety systems, rescue team and conduct training regularly for other HODs to raise their awareness of security and safety.
  8. Landscaping:
    Pay attention to plants/ tree size (plant shape is not deformed due to growth, plants do not block glass windows…); do not let plants or trees die, do not let weed grow.
  9. Transport:
    Monitor closely transport time and vehicle quality to ensure top service quality. Cooperate with Head Office to develop service standards and control service quality.

III. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Educational qualifications
    : Bachelor's degree in business, hotel management or hospitality.
  2. Professional experience
    : 15 year of experience in Hospitality, including at least 5 years as Director of Operations / General Manager for Hotel chain or Event center chain.

  3. Competencies
    :

  4. In-depth knowledge of the hotel/ banquet /food & beverage service sector.

  5. Experience managing budgets, revenue proposals.
  6. Excellent leadership skills.
  7. Possess strong commercial acumen, understands the market and its competitors both locally and internationally.
  8. Strong training skills.
  9. Ability to work effectively to meet deadlines or tight schedule.
  10. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
  11. English proficiency required.
  12. Possess comprehensive computer skills.
