Job Description

  • Handle day-to-day accounting operations, including collecting, verifying, and archiving transaction documents, processing invoices, and recording journal entries in accordance with company policies.
  • Manage cash flow activities and coordinate interbank transfers to ensure timely payments.
  • Prepare and submit monthly tax declarations (VAT, PIT, and CIT when applicable) while ensuring compliance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and tax regulations.
  • Advise management on tax planning, cost optimization, and financial compliance matters.
  • Support tax audits, finalization procedures, and respond to inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform monthly and year-end closings, reconcile accounts, and generate accurate financial and management reports.
  • Prepare annual financial statements and ensure all outstanding invoices and tax filings are completed and reconciled before deadlines.
  • Oversee payroll and benefits administration, including attendance tracking, salary calculation, social insurance procedures, and PIT declarations.
  • Maintain and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to accounting and finance when necessary.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external auditors to ensure data integrity and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance
    , or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience
    as a General Accountant, preferably in Technology, Gaming, or Media companies, with exposure to tax and payroll management.
  • Holder of a Chief Accountant Certificate.
  • In-depth understanding of VAS, tax regulations, and payroll-related policies (social, health, and unemployment insurance).
  • Proficient in Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, and accounting software.
  • Strong ability in financial reporting, reconciliation, and data analysis, with attention to accuracy and compliance.
  • Good command of English for communication and the ability to comprehend accounting and finance documentation.
  • Detail-oriented, honest, and precise; proactive, responsible, and eager to learn.
  • Team-oriented and customer-focused, with a supportive attitude toward internal stakeholders.
