ABOUT KFC

Colonel Harland Sanders opened the first KFC in Corbin, Kentucky, in 1938. He started with one restaurant, 11 herbs and spices, and an idea. From there, our incredible brand and product grew to what it is today.  KFC is one of the five brands operated by our parent company, Yum Along with Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, The Habit Burger Grill, and recently added Heartstyles.

KFC first came to Vietnam in 1997 with our first restaurant in Super Bowl, Ho Chi Minh City. Today, we are the biggest business in the fast-food industry in Vietnam, with more than 200 restaurants run and 5,000 restaurant team members. The Restaurant Support Centre (RSC) is located at the Bluesky office, Tan Binh District – near Tan Son Nhat Airport.

POSITION SUMMARY

Role Purpose:

Contribute to building a thriving workplace where employees grow, connect, and feel inspired. This role focuses on driving engagement and communication, while also supporting L&D initiatives and CSR programs. By delivering meaningful employee experiences, effective communication, and development opportunities, this position helps strengthen company culture and reinforce KFC Vietnam's position as an Employer of Choice.

Key Responsibilities:

Employee Engagement

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to bring creative ideas that strengthen team spirit and employee pride.
  • Design and implement engagement programs, recognition activities, and wellbeing initiatives to foster a positive work culture.
  • Implement, and analyze Company employee
    surveys to capture employee voice and drive improvements.
  • Collect employee feedback after engagement initiatives/events and propose enhancement
  • Act as MC/host for internal events, creating energy and connection among employees.

Communication (Internal & Media)

  • Develop communication strategies to ensure consistent, engaging, and inspiring messaging across the company.
  • Manage internal communication channels: newsletters, email, internal platforms.
  • Create and design communication content: articles, posts, videos, infographics, presentations.
  • Collaborate with leaders and departments to cascade messages effectively.
  • Manage and produce content for corporate social media channels (Facebook, LinkedIn, others) to promote employer brand and showcase employee stories.
  • Track and report communication effectiveness.

Learning & Development (L&D)

  • Support the coordination of training programs, workshops, and development initiatives.
  • Assist with Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and training plan preparation under manager's guidance.
  • Help design learning communication and prepare training logistics.
  • Collect feedback and track participation for training effectiveness.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

  • Assist in planning and coordinating CSR activities and community projects.
  • Support communication of CSR initiatives internally and externally.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of CSR events.

Other additional tasks and responsibilities assigned by the Manager to support team objectives and organizational priorities.

Professional Skills:

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.

· Energetic, collaborative, and able to build positive working relationships.

· Solid organizational and coordination skills with attention to detail.

· Effective presentation and public speaking skills.

· Strong negotiation and influencing abilities.

· Excellent time management and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

· Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and digital design tools (Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar).

· Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Key Experiences:

· Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

· At least 2 years of HR experience, preferably in Engagement, Communication and/or Learning & Development.

· Prior experience as an MC/host or facilitating company events/activities.
