Great equipment + willing buyers ≠ completed deals without financing.

The challenge:
Currently, only 50% of our deals close. Most failures are due to financing issues. In emerging markets like Vietnam, few construction companies can pay $100K+ cash for excavators.

Our vision:
Match customers with the right leasing/bank partner instantly, increasing our deal closure rate from 50% to 90% by next year. This isn't just about doubling our revenue—it's about helping SME construction companies grow.

The Role: Build and Run Our Financial Services

We're looking for someone who can
both design the system and operate it
. You'll be the founding member of our Vietnam financial services team—starting by handling daily applications yourself, then building the frameworks and processes that will scale as we grow.

Your Journey:

  • Handle daily financial applications, learn our customer base, build relationships with local banks
  • Design credit assessment frameworks, automate key processes, develop new financial partnerships
  • Scale the system, potentially build a team under you

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 3-8 years of finance experience
    with both strategic and operational exposure
  • Financial domain expertise (lease/loan/installment products, credit assessment)
  • Understanding of the construction and finance industry
  • Strong English communication skills
  • Comfortable wearing multiple hats in a startup environment

What You'll DoStrategy & Design (50% of time)

Credit Framework Development
Bridge the gap between customers who lack perfect paperwork and financial institutions who need confidence to approve. Coordinate with banks and our accounting team to help customers strengthen their financial documents and build trust for approval.

Partner Development
Identify and develop new financial partners (banks, leasing companies, or new branches) who are willing to serve underbanked construction SMEs. Find the right partners for the right customer segments.

Risk Management
Build criteria to filter out deals that would waste both RCE's and financial institutions' resources—applications that will ultimately be rejected anyway. Ensure genuine growth companies with real potential don't get caught in overly strict filters.

Operations & Execution (50% of time)

Daily Application Processing
Handle incoming financial applications, prepare documentation, communicate with banks, and follow up on approvals. Be the direct point of contact between customers, RCE sales team, and financial institutions.

Data Analysis & Reporting
Answer questions like "Why did approval rates drop this month?" or "Which customer types matter most?" with numbers and data. Track KPIs, identify trends, and present insights to leadership.

Process Automation
Automate repetitive tasks and document everything. Build dashboards with Google Sheets, automate notifications with Slack, and continuously improve workflow efficiency.

Path 1: Senior Analyst Ready to Lead

  • 5-7 years as Credit Risk Analyst or Business Analyst in financial services
  • Strong operational experience but ready for more strategic work
  • Want to build something from scratch rather than execute someone else's playbook

Path 2: Junior Manager Looking for Impact

  • 6-8 years total, with 2-3 years in management or product roles
  • Have designed systems but miss being hands-on
  • Thrive in startup environments where you build and run simultaneously

Path 3: Consultant Seeking Ownership

  • 5-7 years in financial consulting (Big 4, boutique, or regional firm)
  • Tired of advising, want to actually implement and see results
  • Comfortable with both spreadsheets and stakeholder conversations

Preferred Experience

Must have at least 2 of these:

  • B2B financial product experience (especially equipment financing, asset-backed lending)
  • Credit risk analysis for SME lending (construction/manufacturing sectors preferred)
  • Working with banks or leasing companies in Vietnam
  • Building processes/systems from scratch in early-stage companies
  • Business analysis skills (requirements gathering, process documentation, data analysis)

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Vietnamese market or regulatory environment
  • Technical skills (SQL, Python, or advanced Excel/Google Sheets)
  • Prior experience in a founding team or early employee role
