**About the Team**:
We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join our Thailand/Vietnam/Cambodia regional legal team as a part of our SEA regional legal team. The SEA regional legal team provides key support for all TikTok’s innovative initiatives, state-of-the-art products, and integrated platforms servicing our local communities across the region.

This full-time position can be based in Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide pragmatic day-to-day advice to manage legal risks in the market to ensure compliance with laws and regulations while advancing business objectives.
- Draft, review, negotiate and interpret a variety of agreements including collaboration, service, commission, entertainment, influencer and promotion agreements, advise business as necessary.
- Provide legal support and advise on risk mitigation strategies on a variety of matters, including business licensing, partnership and collaborations, events, campaigns, disputes and complaints, government requests, legislative updates, regulatory advocacy, and other ad hoc support
- Monitor relevant legislative developments, key trends, risks and opportunities, and advise on business impact and recommend action items.
- Contribute to the development, implementation and upgrading of relevant toolkits of the legal team, identifying and resolving opportunities to simplify workflows and keep up with growth.
- Engage, instruct, and manage external counsel as necessary.

**Qualifications**:

- Vietnam law Bachelor degree; qualified to practice law and in good standing in Vietnam.
- At least 6-8 years PQE, prior private practice experience in a highly regarded law firm.
- Significant experience in platform liability, intellectual property, consumer protection, regulatory and compliance schemes applicable to new technology and user/third-party agreements.
- Motivated, efficient, and organized with proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Excellent legal and business judgment, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously.
- Outstanding analytical, communication, organizational, negotiation, and drafting skills.
- A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated judgment, personal integrity, and interpersonal skills. Strong ability to work as a team player who can effectively collaborate with colleagues from the Global Legal team and business stakeholders.
- Driven, responsible, high integrity, self-starting, adaptable, experience working in an international team is a plus.
- Fluent in both English and Vietnamese (both spoken and written) to collaborate closely with local and regional stakeholders.
