Role Overview
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Legal Counsel/ Senior Legal Counsel to join our Manufacturing Legal Team, overseeing legal matters related to our domestic and overseas production activities. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our manufacturing operations by ensuring legal compliance, managing risk, and providing legal guidance across a wide range of issues.

  • Advise on legal aspects of domestic and international manufacturing operations (in collaboration with local counsel where needed).
  • Review and negotiate contracts for machinery and equipment purchases, construction, and supply of goods and services.
  • Provide legal guidance on regulatory licenses, production conditions, and other operational compliance requirements.
  • Advise on product safety and liability issues, and support the business in managing product-related risks.
  • Advise on other issues related to manufacturing area.
  • Advise and manage claims/ disputes as assigned.
  • Stay informed on changes in relevant laws and proactively advise the business on potential legal developments.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience working as a lawyer at a reputable law firm or as an in-house legal counsel, preferably in the manufacturing, industrial, or automotive sectors.
  • Solid knowledge of commercial and contract law.
  • Experience working with cross-border legal matters and coordinating with external counsel in international jurisdictions.
  • Strong understanding of compliance issues related to production.
  • High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
  • Sound judgment and ability to analyze situations and information.
  • Fluency in English is required.
