The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving profitable business growth within the assigned region by managing and growing existing accounts, while ensuring expansion into new business opportunities. The role requires developing effective business retention and growth strategies, strengthening customer partnerships, and leading a team of Territory Managers to achieve revenue and profitability targets.Your Role at a Glance:Strategic Focus: Develop and deliver growth plans for the assigned region, ensuring top-line revenue and profitability targets are met.
- People Management: Lead, coach, and develop a team of Territory Managers to drive performance, foster a positive work culture, and achieve growth objectives.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders to strengthen loyalty and trust in the business.
- Business Development: Collaborate with the technical team to identify and expand opportunities in strategic focus areas, driving market growth and competitiveness.
- Customer Satisfaction: Partner with supporting functions (Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, HR, and Customer Service) to ensure customer needs are met and consistently delivered within expected timeframes.
Qualification:Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Microbiology, Food Engineering, or Management.
- Minimum 7 years of experience with a proven track record in Business Development or Technical Sales, preferably within the Food & Beverage sector.
- Basic knowledge of P&L structure, margins, and profitability.
- Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage manufacturing processes.
- Willingness to travel within the territory to support customers, attend industry events, and drive business development.
- Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building abilities, with a collaborative and customer-focused mindset.
- Proficient in CRM tools and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills (written and spoken).
