The teams are always looking to acquire business opportunities to drive Shopee to be the No. 1 e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan. The aim of the Business Development and Partnership teams is to provide Shopee’s buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices.

**About the Team**:

- As part of the Acquisition team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end Shopee Mall acquisition process with brands. This team will work closely with the Head of Shopee Mall and Cluster Leads to ensure key brands are acquired to the platform. You will also work closely with the Brand Management team and the rest of the Mall team (Brand Partnership, S&P ) to ensure a smooth onboarding process for the brands.- Contact and pitch brands to join Shopee Mall, and Shopee Premium.
- Responsible for sellers with Shopee Mall onboarding post-acquisition.
- Create/Manage presentations and updates for internal and external meetings.
- Provide market insights from a brand perspective by understanding product categories, the Shopee platform, competitor dynamics, and the overall market.
- Provide forecasts on seller performance and advise on seller investment.
- Able to form relationships with key counterparts from brands to gain trust.
- Interact with internal and external stakeholders to resolve & de-bottleneck issues.
- Review and suggest enhancements to streamline and improve acquisition processes wherever possible.
- Conceptualize, execute, and track new initiatives to acquire new sellers for Shopee Mall.
- Support Lead Management team on relevant tasks to monitor Brand universe and Acquisition progress.

**Requirements**:

- At least 1-4 years of experience in Business Development/ Marketing, relevant work experience in B2B or Retail or E-commerce industry is a plus (level of role will depend on experience)
- Holds a bachelor’s degree with an excellent academic record.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Outstanding presentation skills.
- Fluency in English is a must.
- Process-oriented and logical thinking.
- Strong team player and a capable individual contributor.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Data-driven and comfortable with synthesizing insights from a series of numbers.
- Able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
