**JOB SUMMARY**

Lead the Team of Relationship Managers / Senior Relationship Managers in High-value client segment of Business Banking (“BB”), CPBB, Standard Chartered Vietnam (the “Bank”). Work with General Manager (“GM”), Business Banking to form up strategy and drive execution of the segment, focusing on high-value Small and Medium Enterprises across both foreign direct investment and local customers. Deliver financial results as well as people agenda in developing the team for long-term successes. Act as role-model for the Team in compliance and live up to the Bank’s value.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Strategy**

**Develop and implement strategies**
- Develop targeting strategies for BB client acquisition in high-value segment within geographic presence, including identification of target segments / sub-segments, customer persona & needs, and putting together a suitable offering to deliver the value proposition to the target sub-segments
- In line with defined strategies, prescribe performance delivery standards and revenue targets for high-value segment under Business Banking
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of client journeys, scripts and offers with appropriate infrastructure in place
- Work with stakeholders to ensure achievement of BB Segment-wise acquiring targets. Conduct root cause analysis and debottleneck issues, as required

**Business**

**Delivery of financial targets under relationship-led business model to deliver holistic financial solutions to clients and generate value to both clients and the Bank**
- Lead High-value RMs to deliver the financial targets as per the strategies designed.
- Understand customer needs holistically and deliver the financial solutions to meet customer needs. Work with relevant stakeholders to design / cater the solutions as and where necessary.
- Support High-value RMs in acquiring and nurturing relationship with High-value customers. Provide senior relationship coverage to customers’ senior management.
- Understand competition landscape and anticipate customer future needs through insight-led approach to capture business opportunities and maximize wallet-share

**Processes**

**Performance measurement & tracking**
- Work in collaboration with Country teams to ensure effective account planning process through smooth operating rhythm, tracking process of successful referrals and pipeline management
- Work closely with Digital channels for delivering fulfillment of Online solutions
- Work closely with Finance, Segment and Product Teams to define overall performance standards and KPIs
- Front end design and development of reward framework and scorecards for Team
- Define sales processes and standards for sales quality metrics for Team

**Ensure compliance and familiarity to standards**
- Work collaboratively with Financial Crime Compliance, AML, L&C on Client Due Diligence and KYC processes
- Provide input to governance and operational risk to define measures and controls for prevention of miss-selling, misrepresentation, fraud and for adherence to Treating Clients Fairly principles
- Maintain effective oversight for the Team’s compliance to policies, processes, procedures, both internal and external. Perform continuous monitoring and early detection of non-compliance issues and escalated to GM Business Banking and relevant stakeholders

**People & Talent**
- Hire & maintain the relationship team as per approved capacity.
- Provide required trainings & develop knowledge skills set.
- Build bench strength within the team with strong second line in place.

**Risk Management**
- Have a balanced view between risk and rewards.
- Actively manage credit risk of the portfolio including early identification of deteriorated credits and escalation to BB GM and work with stakeholders including Risk Management and Collection.
- Own and manage operational risks of the Team from frontline perspective, including actively identify and prevent fraud risks and compliance risks

**Governance**
- Ensure all activities meet with Group’s and CPBB’s governance standards
- Develop and monitor sales governance to delivery fair outcome to customers as week as in full compliance with the Bank’s standards and local regulations.

**Regulatory & Business Conduct**
- Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
