Operations Program Manager, New Product

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in industry in one or more of the following fields: new product introduction, supply chain, management, manufacturing, operations, development, or operations engineering.
- Experience in working across the entire product lifecycle (e.g., prototyping, mass production).
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA or Master's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, Operations Engineering, or other related fields.
- Experience in the consumer technology market and consulting with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs), and third-party suppliers.
- Experience working with global, cross-functional internal/external teams.
- Knowledge of typical hardware Bill Of Materials (BOMs), process documentation, and assembly/test processes.
- Knowledge of multiple aspects of hardware operations.
- Excellent, quantitative reasoning, problem-solving, investigative, and strategic skills.

As an Operations Program Manager, you will work with Google’s engineering and product teams to drive product development builds and support ongoing changes to existing products. You will be the primary manufacturing interface for hardware products. You will also lead a team to ensure products are designed and built to standards of functionality and quality.

**Responsibilities**:
- Lead and guide short and long term strategic programs.
- Extend the cross-functional leadership beyond organization boundaries to achieve and enhance operational excellence.
- Lead and anticipate all aspects of product operations of Pixel products with cross-functional partners and agreement manufacturers.
- Drive responsive supply chains that optimize lowest costs, operational flexibility and, high quality.
