**Job Description Summary**: The Program Manager is responsible to expand orders and revenues including strategy development, new vertical development, opportunities identification deal execution & portfolio managementfor GE Haiphong in Energy industry global market including Power, Wind, Grids, Solar, Hydro, Hybrid

The Business Development & Sales Manager explores additional opportunities for the GE Haiphong portfolio; develop new customer as well as maintaining existent customer relationship and have responsibility for the profitable growth through increasing sales.

**Essential Responsibilities**:
As Program he/she will:

- Explore additional opportunities for the GE Haiphong portfolio; formulate deal structure, proposal strategy and lead customer negotiations; identify new opportunities with functional partners to develop new products and services for business growth.
- Effectively engage with the relevant internal GE businesses as well as external organizations in the market.
- Provide deep understanding of global/region energy market, industry dynamics, competitive intelligence, and key customer insights to business leader.
- Develop new customer as well as maintain existent customer relationship and coordinate with business support and central functions to showcase GE Haiphong capability and technology, identify and influence key products and technical solutions for the customers.
- Be responsible for driving profitable growth through increasing sales.
- Provide input to product line on developments and customer asks in the marketplace to sharpen GE solutions. Assist in all major proposal generation including Terms and Conditions negotiations with customers. Be accountable to drive results and meet Operating Plan Objectives (Annual OP).
- Contribute to the commercial activity of new and retrofit opportunities for the Business from opportunity identification, pre-positioning, capture strategy of Business Leader and capture plans to win the deals.
- Provide competitive market feedback to the business on any proposals, win or lose and active session of win/lost analysis.
- Accurately forecast pipeline of opportunities including Orders and Sales for a given sales territory on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Works with absolute integrity and full adherence to the Ethics and Compliance rules

**Essential Qualifications/Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business from an accredited university
- Minimum of 5 additional years of professional experience in Technical Sales or Account management or Business Development. Experience in Power, Renewable Energy business or Energy industry will be a plus, i.e. Commercial Operations, Application Engineering, Field Service.
- Strong Sales or Business Development experiences in the designated regional/global marketplace.
- Proven track record of sales result and sales leadership results.
- Customer-centric mindset; able to translate customer issues/needs into profitable business solutions.
- Outstanding presentation, negotiation, and global communication skills
- Strong leadership skills.

- Master’s degree in business (MBA) from an accredited university
- Technical Sales Program Graduate (TSLP, CLP, or ECLP)
- Flexible travel schedule.
