Minimum qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience
- 8 years of experience in operations program management
- Experience in new product introduction (NPI) with consumer electronics
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 30% of the time

Preferred qualifications:

- Experience in the consumer technology market
- Experience working with global and cross-functional internal and external teams
- Experience launching Consumer Hardware products in one or more manufacturing models: Contract Manufacturing (CM), Joint Development Manufacturing (JDM), Original Device Manufacturing (ODM), and/or Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM)
- Experience and knowledge in multiple aspects of hardware operations, including knowledge of typical hardware bill of materials, assembly/test processes and Operating Cost of Goods Sold (OCOGS)
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and ability to present to leadership
- Excellent analytical, quantitative reasoning, problem solving, creativity, and strategic skills

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and execute new product introduction (NPI) development builds and influence product manufacturability, testability, and supply chain responsiveness in pursuit of high quality, optimal cost, and maximum capacity.
- Manage all operations-related communications, upward and downward, throughout the organization. Escalate key issues and present options for resolution to executives.
- Drive cross-functional teams to deliver on product goals. Build consensus among teams to balance risks and influence executive decision making.
- Manage project schedules and operational deliverables, identify risks, and clearly communicate them to project stakeholders with tradeoffs and mitigation plans.
- Lead cross-functional teams within Google and external partners to prepare for production ramp and product transition to sustaining.
