Assistant Conference Producer

**We are expanding and currently looking for a semi-experienced Asst Conference Producer**
OpenGov specialises in technological developments in the government, healthcare, education, and finance sectors. The Asst Conference Producer is responsible for assisting in the planning, organisation, and execution of events. The primary role is to support the conference producer in coordinating all aspects of the conference planning process. The Asst Conference Producer is a key role which would help the content team to produce a commercially viable conference programme that will offer networking and knowledge transfer opportunities for paying/ non-paying delegates, sponsors, and speakers.
To be successful in this role, an Asst Conference Producer should have excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills. The person should be able to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and adapt to changing circumstances quickly.
**Role**
In depth research for high-level speakers and help in invitations and confirmations
- Coordinate and communicate with speakers, presenters, and attendees before and during the event
- Ensure that conference materials, such as presentation slides, and marketing materials are developed on time
- Assist with on-site event management, including registration, attendee engagement, and problem-solving
- Assist in providing the post-event report, analysis and feedback

**Research**
- Carry out extensive research to identify top executives that can be invited as speakers as well as delegates
- Provision of up-to-date and useable speaker lists/files for event management to follow up
- Following and reporting on other industry events and competitive events
**Project Management**
- Ensure that all conferences achieve the objectives as set by the conference producer
- Pitch, invite and confirm executive-level speakers and delegates from the leading companies within the sub-industry
- Ongoing project management of the live content, ensuring proper liaising and coordination between various departments
- Onsite management of the live events, including speaker and operations management
- Assisting Conference Managers with onsite management of department conferences
**General**
- Helping with website and marketing copy
- Help create the sales and marketing strategy to drive revenue on your project
- Build relationships with key industry players (buyer and supplier side) to advise on conference content
- Performing any other tasks as required
