**About the role**
- Managing the employee life cycle in Vietnam from the offer, and onboarding to offboarding, including providing HR support to the business leaders & employees.
- Working closely with the regional team to establish the people policies and processes in Vietnam to align with regional practices
- Working with the regional team to execute people-related strategies together with leaders and managers in Vietnam.
- Managing the local People & Culture team to ensure smooth operations for Vietnam offices.
- Responsible for overseeing end-to-end processing of monthly payroll computation for all employees and ensuring legislative compliance.
- Maintaining and auditing data entered into our HR system during the employee lifecycle and run reports where necessary.
- Providing hands-on and operational support in Vietnam payroll matters.
- Maintaining, review, and continuously update DA’s people policies and templates to ensure they remain relevant to Vietnam's business and various employee groups.
- Managing the workplace administrative works to ensure a comfortable working environment;
- Providing advice on local labor laws and best practices to stakeholders and regional teams.
- Collecting and verifying employee timekeeping records, calculating wages, salaries, deductions, and adjustments, and ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Taking People & Culture projects with the rest of the team.

**About you**
- At least 7 years of human resource experience, with experience in processing payroll, employee benefits, labour law & office administration in Vietnam, leading a team is strongly preferred.
- Experience in setting up a new entity with business leaders is highly preferred.
- Experience in in-house payroll activities with strong knowledge of Vietnam payroll laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Ability to deliver results with little supervision in a start-up, hyper-growth environment with the capacity to manage multiple payrolls simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency is using English at a professional level.
- Tech savvy and comfortable with any HRIS, GSuite especially Excel skills;
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to clearly articulate policies and programs to employees.
- Unquestioned integrity and confidentiality.
- A start-up attitude - you take full ownership of things that you do, are willing to go out of your comfort zones and take on new challenges.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and flexible to learn new things - we’re not done growing, and heading into uncharted territories is part of the fun
